We had a lovely night in Shalom and would come again

The property was lovely and modern with good facilities. Comfortable bed , good location and great outlook - tasty breakfast with lovely bacon! Owner Jackie very friendly

Only issue re facilities is that there is no heat in bathroom . Also during our stay the heat didn’t come on in the morning but we spoke to Jackie and she apologised greatly and was looking into it

second time staying here and it was a delight. Host is extremely helpful and very pleasant. Rooms are a good size, nice layout and comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Breakfast included is quite good! Location is lovely.

There was no password for the Wifi but our host found it and gave it to us - but the connection was not working. No iron in the room but the host kindly lent us one. TV remote wasnt working but host got batteries for us! Any problem was sorted as best as possible practically immediately

Lovely b&b in a beautiful location

The room was very spacious and clean with comfortable and warm beds. Electric blankets were also available for exrta heat. There were facilities for tea/coffee in the room. The bathroom was very clean and the staff were extremely welcomng and friendly. The location was stunning, right in front of Carlingford Lough.

There was great fresh fruit and creeals for breakfast, and a beautiful view from the dining room. The cooked breakfast was okay, but could have been better.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was amazing - overlooking the Mourn Mountains and from the dining room on the 1st floor we had a view of Carlingford Lough.

Everything was excellent, could not rate it high enough. I could write a book on this place diffently the best place i have ever stayed. Owners are so amazing and Jackie and her son cooks an amazing breakfast. Couldnt of been more helpful from start to finish. This is a magical wee place

Shower head needs either de-scaling or re-placing...water only trickled from it. Very limited choice for breakfast...full irish or full irish....no choice of bread, toast only!!! Could do with extra pair of hands serving at breakfast time.

The proximity to the lough and view. We also enjoyed it was a short walk into the village. Also, the hospitality of the owners!

I wouldn’t say didn’t like as much as recommend to update the look of the rooms. The bathrooms were modernized which was a plus and the heating covers underneath the bed made for a relaxing day after long walks.

I liked that the rooms were away from the main house so it was very private. We were able to come and go as we please but assistance was on hand if we needed it. Lovely accommodation, surroundings and views. The host, Jackie was a really nice lady too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Location was perfect although the room didn't have the great view it claimed to have 😂 Enjoyed the stay, it was clean and comfortable. Room was more spacious than expected. Perfectly clean. Room had hair dryer, tea and coffee, towels.

Breakfast portions of the hot food were a bit small and a little slow to be brought out - BnB appeared to be at full capacity so I understand but maybe need more help in the kitchen! (This was only a small inconvenience and mostly noted because the property advertises a "fabulous breakfast") No milk supplied with the tea and coffee in the room. Small TV.
