This is an ideal location for a family meet-up, a great, secluded location with plenty of space for everyone and lots to keep little ones (or the adults) from getting bored. The place was immaculate upon arrival and everything we could’ve needed was right there. An added bonus was no additional charge for pets, and plenty of towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies already supplied makes such a difference.

Very very minor things, but some kind of enclosed garden would’ve been good. We had one dog who is prone to running off so she needed to be on lead whenever let out. Internet seemed to freeze to a halt but we think that was due to the amount of devices we were connecting (three kids will do that), with less devices connected it was absolutely fine. Oh and the tin opener didn’t work so we picked up a replacement as a thank you for a wonderful stay 😂

Excellent accommodation and deceptively spacious. The house was extremely well equipped and clean, and the games room was a bonus. Communication with the host was excellent and clear instructions were given on how to access the property which was very helpful as we arrived late in the evening after a ferry crossing. The huge kitchen diner was a great space in which to cook and eat together. The two bathrooms and spacious bedrooms gave us plenty of space in which to prepare for the wedding we were attending. The setting is picturesque and rural with great views so a car is essential to make the most of exploring the area. We walked around the nearby reservoir/lake which was very enjoyable and full of birdlife.

Both bathrooms are downstairs which could be a problem for some travellers, but it wasn't an issue for our family group.
