I paid 160 pound for a 4 bedroom house and because it was just me and my child the women locked 2 bedroom it does not matter if it is just 2 of us if I pay to stay in a 4 bedroom house I expect nothing less the women turned it into a 2 bedroom house the women said she would send me the information through about my stay and she didn’t so I never got the WiFi password so I was stuck without wifi so wasn’t helpful doesn’t care about the customers I don’t rexcommend anybody staying and the neighbours spent the night partying so barely got any sleep

PERFECT STAY FOR A WEEKEND IN DERRY

Recently renovated property with good facilities. 4 bedrooms with comfortable double beds. 2 shower rooms with plenty of hot water. House was warm and heating was already on when we arrived. House was very clean. Good location within a short walk of all attractions.

Uncomfortable stay and unhelpful host

Good location, and nice interior.

The heating was on constantly and unable to be turned off. This must not have been checked by the host before our arrival. When I raised this the host advised that it just takes some time to cool down. This was not the case and the heating remained on and unbearably warm for the duration of the stay. When I mentioned this to the host (after the stay) they said that there was an issue with the boiler and that a plumber had since been in to fix it. This was only communicated as I followed up. No sincere apology for the inconvenience was offered, nor was any compensation. This was not the ideal way to spend the evening before my wedding.

Haven house was exceptionally clean, very close to the city and much bigger than the photos let on! We had plenty of space for everyone to get a great nights sleep. The local shop and pub were also very helpful and friendly.

A few more towels was all that was needed.

Haven House was very clean and comfortable and convenient for walking around Derry. We were able to find on street parking for our 2 cars for our family group of 9 people.

We were disappointed in the water pressure in the downstairs shower. It was our first experience with this type of shower.

Great townhouse with four good sized bedrooms - 10mins walk to city centre

Lounge area is spacious. Having two bathrooms (downstairs one is behind the kitchen) was very helpful for 3 adults. Easy to park on the road outside. Convenient corner store nearby Offing cafe great place to visit minutes away down in the water

Avoid this property it is wholly misrepresented on many levels!

Property was advertised as 4 bedrooms, it was booked for two male colleague's on a motorbike tour, when they arrived 3 bedrooms were locked, leaving just one double room! This was not as advertised and not appropriate for the guests. The host was contacted several times but was adamant that there was sleeping arrangement's for two people so what was the problem.... she was very rude and unaccommodating. As it was not suitable the guests did not stay and had to obtain an alternative accommodation at this short notice. A refund / part refund was refused so been left considerably out of pocket :(

Ultra accommodating ideally located property

Couldn't have been more accommodating we were a band over on tour from Manchester. Let us come in and drop our gear 4 hours before check in. House was immaculate, comfortable with everything you would need shower gels, more than enough towels comfortable beds. So responsive in terms of communication. Made our night in Derry very special. Very large, beautiful, clean home. Felt more like being at home that staying in a hotel or rental apartment. Convenient location to explore Derry on foot. Easy to find street parking right outside. Really loved this home and Derry, wish we could have spent some more time here!

The house was very central and very comfortable

I had never booked on booking.com, as far as I know I said I would arrive between 3 and 4. I was taken back getting the email asking had we arrived, how did we get in, and then saying the cleaner left key in the door and the code was .... and when could you collect the money for extra person. It came across quite rude so I only thing I could advise on is maybe touch base with the person the day before through a phone call to verify times etc

Derry stay with friends

Great location a short walk from.the city centre. 4 bedrooms with double or king size rooms and 2 bathroom/toilets which were very handy both with showers. There was also an enclosed area to the side/back of the property with washing lines.

It was a very busy street where the property was situated and quite noisy later on with cars driving fast for a built up area.

8 of us travelled for leisure...Loved The House, Very spacious and was a bonus having the wet room downstairs along with a bathroom/bath/shower on the first floor which helped with there being 8 of us...was very clean and was not far from the city centre....also had a day today store just about 2/3 doors up again was handy...this house is just a wee gem and love coming to Derry...so definitely be back...

Superb

Lovely 3-storey terraced house on a busy residential street (you can't be too noisy as it would disturb the neighbours). Spacious and comfortable, and nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean. Very handy to town - 2 minute walk away so need need for taxis. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Tea, coffee, OJ, milk, butter, jam, bread, porridge, condiments all left for breakfast. The kitchen had everything you would need. Good wifi. The host was very accommodating and allowed us to check out slightly later.

The house was very cold when we checked in (it was January) and took over 2 hours to heat up downstairs, but it was great after that.
