Whatever you do, don’t go through Bornem without staying at Lotuspoort met Mihr’s B&B!!!

What immediately stands out upon arriving at this beautiful property is the sense of calm and serenity that fills the place. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was always attentive, smiling, and constantly singing. We stayed in a room overlooking the main entrance, which itself opens onto a free parking area set within a wooded environment. As it was the day before New Year’s Eve, the atmosphere was both cheerful and soothing. My wife, our two children, and I absolutely loved our stay and will most certainly return to this former convent, where such a lovely atmosphere prevails. Breakfast, made with fresh products and served in a setting decorated with the distinctive taste of our Belgian friends—especially the Flemish—made this family moment simply delightful. A place highly recommended!!!!!!

Perfect peaceful and dog friendly stay

Perfect stop for me and my dog on the way to Germany. In a beautiful location - I would like to go back and explore more! The room was beautifully decorated, in such a quiet area. Perfect woodland and field nearby to walk my dog. It felt all very safe and peaceful. The host was so accommodating with my vegan breakfast, thank you!

Honestly nothing, it was all fab! I would have liked to meet the host, she couldn't be there unfortunately but she was so so accommodating and had excellent communication. I hope I meet her next time as she seems lovely!

Bad experience. Poor service and no value for money.

The statue at the entrance of the Abbey

Customer care is poor to unexisting. I had to give an ultimatum of reporting them to the authorities for tax evasion to get a business invoice. The worst is they promise repeatedely the invoice week after week but it never comes, that makes completely unreliable to say it in a very diplomatic way. Facilities are poor, bed is too small, heating does not work, breakfast starts at 8:00 ??? guests go go for business are at the office by then. They never pick up the phone. Bad experience stay away if you need an invoice

Charming BnB in a Wonderful Town

A charming BnB set in a wonderful little town with beautiful countryside walks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast looked lovely, although we didn't stay for it ourselves. We had a lovely stop over here on our way to Germany from the UK.

Een last minute boeking met verrassend resultaat

Zeer fraaie locatie en bijzonder hartelijk ontvangst. Je voelt je persoonlijk welkom. Fijne kamer, mooie badkamer met heerlijke douche. Prima ontbijt van kwaliteit met gezonde producten. Een aanrader om even te onthaasten.

Op booking staat een andere prijs voor het ontbijt, dat is verwarrend omdat er 5 euro pp bij komt. Die 5 euro is eigenlijk iets teveel. Daarentegen is het hrt aanbod en de kwaliteit van het ontbijt van grote klasse.

Fantastisch verblijf!

Ontbijt heel goed verzorgd, op ons verzoek werd extra warme melk bezorgd. Heel gastvrije en attente gastvrouw.

Enige verbeterpuntje: licht in de kamer ging vanzelf wat dimmen, waardoor bij de bedden wat weinig licht beschikbaar was.

Piękny stary budynek w ładnej lokalizacji blisko autostrady. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.

W sąsiednim pokoju grupa mężczyzn paliła papierosy co było czuć poprzez wentylację w łazience. Robili też dużo hałasu. Śniadanie tanie ale niezwykle ubogie

Heerlijk en eerlijk verblijf bij de zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw Hilde, die van de oude historische gebouwen een gezellige mix heeft gemaakt waar het heel fijn overnachten was. En ook haar ontbijt was heel lekker!

Het is effe zoeken om de b&b te vinden.Geen enkele aanwijzing of wegwijzer.Bovendien staat aan de ingang een verbodsbord (verboden ingang)Dat is nogal verwarrend denk ik dan toch.

Prachtig verblijf voor een fietsvakantie van enkele dagen.

Heerlijk ontbijt met veel variatie. Mooie kamers, rustig gelegen in een historische site, op wandelafstand van centrum en horeca. Mooie omgeving om te fietsen of wandelen.

De fietsstalling was even wennen, moeilijk om de fietsen te plaatsen zoals het hoorde. Alleen niet te doen!

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host, fijn dat je wat kunt drinken in bar op narekening en grote, schone kamer en gratis parkeren.

Als het echt warm is, is er geen airco alleen een ventilator. Gelukkig was het net een dag dat het niet heel warm was :)

"Mon séjour s’est globalement bien déroulé, toutefois certains aspects mériteraient d’être améliorés. La literie n’était pas de bonne qualité, ce qui a nuit au confort du sommeil.En outre il n'était pas possible de suspendre les vêtements sur des cintres ce qui aurait été un détail pratique a revoir. Par ailleurs, la présence d’une terrasse était mentionnée dans l’annonce, mais celle-ci ne disposait que de trois chaises et était déjà occupée, ce qui a limité son accessibilité et son usage."
