Modern hotel in a family friendly location

The hotel is located in a family-friendly ordered and green neighborhood, with cozy restaurants and playgrounds. It’s within walking distance (25min) from the historical city centre (Grote Markt). The room was modern and clean, with comfortable beds, however too small for a family of four. The breakfast was varied and tasty, good value for money.

The room was too crammed for the four of us, with the kids beds directly next to the double bed. Also, the heating system was very noisy, especially annoying at night when trying to sleep.

Comfortable hotel

Nice and comfortable hotel. Room was clean. Bed was rather firm, but comfortable enough. We liked the free coffee and tea in the common area, which was also a nice place to relax.

Was a bit surprised that the rooms were quite noisy in such a new building. Sound insulation was rather poor, so you have to be a bit lucky with your neighbours.

Good conditions but will not return because of the guests

This is our 2nd stay because our first was so so nice. The rooms are small but just enough for us since we’re out enjoying the town mostly all day anyway, but it’s nice to see there is now a shower door. The staff were nice as always, everything was exceptionally clean as always too because the cleaning crew is excellent!

We will sadly not return for a 3rd time. The first time we were warned by reviews and staff that the walls are thin & the hotel is frequently visited by various characters. It’s not great at all to hear other guests having sex all night long when all we wanted was a quiet weekend getaway. Change those beds and get them away from the walls!!! And ladies, you don’t have to scream!!! A little goes a long way ;)

Good location, spacious room.

Good location, parking was easily available. We were only here for an short over night stop but wished we had had a little time to look around, there seemed to be plent to see within short walking distance. Nice coffee in reception area.

Clean and convenient

Very clean, comfortable. Friendly welcome even though it was midnight. Easy to find in an interesting district. We were able to park the car and travel easily by tram into Antwerp centre and the harbour area and the MAS museum. Couple of bars/cafes very close by too.

Bathroom tiny, which was fine for our one-night stay but might annoy some visitors.

It was a pleasant, quite environment

My room was changed as I required an accessible bathroom. I eventually got this and was mire comfortable. The hotel made available beverage for when needed from the machine which makes things easier even though it's not in the room

They could change the connecting doors from the reception to automatic for ease of use by disabled users. I had to get someone to open the door for me everytime I need to go in and out which made it a bit stressful 😅

Dissapointing

Location

Everything from hairs in the sink of the bathroom to tv not working. And nothing including not even a welcoming water. Tv was supposed to be repaired but after asking for two days NOTHING. No Netflix no YouTube, bad connection of internet..

Only recommend this hotel

I really loved staying at this hotel. The reception staff is lovely, they speak English very well and they're helpful. The breakfast choices were nice, the staff was working hard in order to keep the food topped up and also clean the tables/sitting areas. The hotel itself, inside and outside was very clean, its located in a very nice and central area as well. The room was a little bit small for the price I paid to be honest but it didn't ruin my experience at all! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and had good facilities. They have this system that to help the environment, if you don't want your room to be cleaned every day, they will give you €5 voucher to spend in their bar/shop which I think is a brilliant idea. I liked everything in this hotel and I will definitely be back :)

Value for money accommodation with easy access to the highway and to town.

Very good pre-arrival information package about low emission zone, parking and public transport to the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice with comfortable beds.

The shower panel was not stopping the water to get everywhere in the bathroom.

Nice stay, but a bit pricy

Nice hotel, quiet area, very close to a tram stop that takes you directly to the train station. Staff was friendly and the place was very clean. I recommend it

- The bathroom was very small. The lack of space could be compensated by adding a few more hangers and shelves. - Not easy to connect the tv to Netflix due to some sort of bug. - Staff not quite aware about vegan options for breakfast (I was offered gluten-free food + received some confused looks when asking for some soy milk...)
