It was a clean room, we had hous keeping everyday and staff were friendly and helpful
The bathroom sink was blocked so the first shower that I got became a disaster and water ran into the room and all my luggage and everything got wet

Breakfast and the staff try to assist you with your request as much as possible.
The Bathroom is not hygienic. Needs renovation and has fungi. The pictures were left at the frontdesk Lady. There is a bad smell coming from the bathrooms on the 2nd floor.

Beds were comfortable, shower was good.
It did not feel clean and interior and exterior appeared very tired. our room door wouldn’t lock so had to change room, ( the lady on reception admitted this happened last week too!!) tv didn’t work and radiator didn’t work in first room. Outside area hadn’t been cleaned, dirty over flowing ash trays, cups and glasses left outside. Generally not a lot of attention detail. Breakfast staff were over run Saturday and as a result running out of food and cups for coffee, only one coffee machine so long wait to get use! Sunday was better as less people, the hotel knows how many people are staying and should have adjusted staff and food levels to accommodate. Food was ok but nothing to write home about

Breakfast was nice. Easy and free parking
We stayed here earlier this year and were very disappointed. We thought they would have sorted out the problems we encountered by the time we came for another stay. BUT NO.
We arrived and had no plug for the basin. (same as last time) and our toilet seat was very loose. We asked for them to be sorted and were assured it would be sorted by the time we got back later that evening. BUT NO. We were told they wouldn't be able to supply a plug or fix the loo seat as their maintenance man was on his holiday!!!
The smell of drains we had on our last visit in all of the corridors was as bad if not worse than last time. Friends were staying on a different floor and had the same experience. We have been coming to this hotel, twice yearly, for years as a group. Many of whom didn't come this time as they chose different places to stay. The rest of us will never come back to this hotel again.

Good location for the event we were attending.
We were not aware that the restaurant was closed at weekends. We came back to get something to eat only to be disappointed. We were not advised prior to our arrival.

The staff wasn’t very welcoming, and the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. I’m still not sure if what I ate was supposed to be eggs or some kind of flavorless tofu.

The lobby was nicely designed and gave a good first impression. Staff was polite and generally okay.
The entire floor and our room had a strong foul/gutter smell that lasted all night. Shower had visible mold. No basic toiletries were provided. Cleanliness of linens seemed questionable — my daughter developed pimples on the side of her face where she slept.
Overall, while the lobby and staff were fine, the room conditions and cleanliness fell far below expectations.

Parking, clean room and close to public transport and motorway
Limited seating for restaurant.

We have visited The Tulip Hotel before, which has decent rooms for a good price, with free parking. The bed was comfortable, and there was good space in the room for our bags and to hang items. Modern USB charging and plug sockets.
They have changed the pet policy since we booked one month ago, and no longer allow dogs. Although we had confirmed when booking that our dog would be coming, upon arrival, the reception staff said dogs were not allowed and we were worried we would have to find another hotel. After checking with their manager, they agreed to let our dog stay given they had approved it upon booking. We will not revisit though due to their new no-pet policy.
It was very hot in the room, with no air-conditioning or fan. We could open a window, but there was loud noise from the road. The room smelt like a toilet when we first entered, and the bathroom was not clean either.

The girl at the front desk Alexia tried to de-escalate and stay friendly, but this was the only positive thing
1. Third time there - but every time bad house keeping...last time stale cigarette smoke in the room, this time there was a sock hanging in the bathroom, the toilet lid was open, towels looked used and were lying unfolded in the bathroom, in the bedroom some of the furniture was scattered on the floor, possibly because the window was wide open
2. I slept every month in hotels in belgium, this time was the first time i had to pay not the amount like written in the app booking.com, they asked for extra money for the tourist tax....In Germany, tourist tax must be included in the total amount on booking portals, which has always been the case in the past
3. The doors and the furniture and the floor carpet are dirty and very old, time for a renovation....and perhaps with a aircondition for the summer in the future - therefore is it very cold there in the winter because of the small eletcric radiator
4. parking places less then guests

Nice staff, good restaurant and lobby, have some games and allow us to stay even after closed time. Position is good on outer center with free parking.
When we came it looks like they forget our reservation. There was lot of discussions between each other (in local language, so can just assume), also one moment they told they not have any room. After some waiting they gave us room, which looks like was in use 5 minutes before. It was late evening so we just take it. But there was mess and hair on the floor in both corridor and bathroom, dirty toilet and also walls in room next to bed are quite dirty with something “strange”.

Place is easy to find and its actually like a hotel with its own caffe and nice reception. The beds are very comfy and the shower is great. Very good value for money :)
The bathroom didn't have a toilet brush and there wasn't enough toilet paper. Only two rolls and one roll was already halfway finished when we arrived.

I have stayed at this Hotel before, but was not aware at the time of booking as it was very short notice.
The Hotel is okay for one night. Very simple, but okay with a dog. Location near motorway. Parking situation is difficult, but I have electro car and got it charged during the night. Breakfast was okay.
Parking situation.

I enjoyed my stay at Tulip Inn Antwerpen. The availability of parking space was a convenient feature, making it hassle-free for guests with vehicles. The hotel provided a comfortable experience, and the overall stay was pleasant

The room was big and the bathroom was huge and looked new.
The windows to our room didn't cancel any noise from the street. Either they're very old or broken

There had been a mistake with our booking, but the on duty manager totally saved the day. Really helpful and made what could have been a disaster a comfortable stay
The hall carpets and the paint work needs some TLC, looks old and scruffy
Bar and restaurant are all good.
Pancake machine for breakfast did not work, and that’s not good when you have 3 young kids with you.

Good location for the motorway
Friendly staff
Easy parking
Lack of aircon might be a problem in hot summer days
8.0 / 10.0
The counter staff were a little grumpy, and functional. Room and beds were fine.
The units on the rear side backed onto noisy motorway. With closed windows it was ok. Open it was too noisy.

Just 10 min walk to Berchem Station. Simple but clean and comfortable room. It's very calm and quiet during the night. I think all together it's a good value for money.
It was summer so a bit warm in the room.

The lift was out of order for 3 days.
The stairway was very dirty and was never cleaned.
9.0 / 10.0
Free parking, close to motorway.
Lift was out of order, not a major problem as I only had a backpack, would have been more of a problem if I had suitcases.

Food and accomodation were fine, Hotel was situated just conveniently in the city outskirts
Should have been more specific when booking as the room was situated above the smoking area and on a hot night was none too pleasant.

A great value hotel with lovely staff and the bonus of a decent restaurant attached. Would recommend for anyone staying traveling through Europe. It is also just outside the Antwerp clean air zone, which is a bonus.
For the price it is an excellent place to stay.
A bit noisy from the nearby road, but it didn't bother us too much.
No covers over some of the breakfast meats put us off a bit.
