It was so good I booked again

Great accommodation.Very comfortable; spacious room, high ceilings, great bed, radiator can be turned on or off anytime and there’s a big window so heating and ventilation are perfect. Fridge, kettle, toaster and supplies in the room and a microwave is also available to use. Very central too; a 2 minute walk from Haymarket station.

Room was cold, bathrooms weren’t cleaned, didn’t get new towels, bad smell.

Cheap and cheerful

Location is splendid. The room was super clean. There was a kettle, toaster, a fridge, storage space, 2 towels (but thin but ok), free WiFi. The bed was comfy and warm. The shower a bit weak but plenty of warm water. Soap provided. Very warm flat, welcoming.

Couldn't control the heating, a bit hot during the night. There was a microwave in the hallway for everyone to use... Great idea, but people were cooking at midnight (not the property's fault obviously). The door has a big gap at the bottom, do the light from the hallway cones in. I used a towel to block it, but it can be annoying. There was a constant rumbling noise, I can't say is it came from the pipes or outside. Fastidious but it never stopped. Managed to sleep through it, but it took me a while.

Brilliant accommodation

Everything. Very beautiful and spacious room and very cosy, very comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly host. Self check in. Better than other competing rooms. Tesco express on the doorstep is very handy. 1 minute walk from train station.

Room quite reasonable for pricing.

The price is reasonable. It is located next to Tesco express. It is actually an apartment building that has many apartment in there. This booking is the second floor on the left. To get in the room you need to contact the owner so that you can get the code for a key!!!

The photo of Haymarket is misleading. In fact? It is an apartment building next to Tesco. Inside, there are 4-5 rooms with 2 shared bathrooms. I found that it’s a bit hectic in the morning that everyone wants to go to the bathroom around 8 to 9. The room basically was clear with pot, TV, fridge. Coffee.

The close leading up to the rooms was scary and dirty. No carpets in the room, shared toilet, there was holes in the floor

Perfect

Room was basic but very clean,. Very fast in responding to messages and instructions to access room were great. Room and bathroom were very warm and bed was very comfortable. Situated a 2 min walk from Haymarket Train Station and 10 min walk to Princes Street. Perfect

Squeaky floorboards 😄 although I appreciate its an old house/floorboards at 5am when you're trying to not wake other people they're a nightmare 😆

It was close to the train station

No en suite no mention that it was a shared bathroom, dirty entry, was definitely described differently in the pictures, very basic room, furniture mismatched and in bad condition, secured entry was not secure, noisy guest next door, no mention that I'd was required in the booking, was so uncomfortable in the shared area with only a Yale lock on room door, could not sleep the place is undesirable. Place was definitely lived in by full time residents and made for an uncomfortable stay because it feels like you are intruding in people's lodgings.

It was very near Haymarket station and with a tescos just next door. Microwave in the hall meant I could heat up a microwave meal from Tescos

It was just a bit odd - a room in an apartment. bit shonky, sheet didn't really fit the bed. Front door shook the whole building every time someone went in and out.

I would have slept better on a rock covered with a sheet

It was cheap? Ish. Honestly I’d have been less disappointed had we paid £20, which is about what it was worth.

Sussy building. Wasn’t very clean and smelled of old burnt tikka masala. Bed was worse than sleeping on a rock. Bathrooms outside of bedroom (which was in the listing but they were pretty sketchy as well).

The room was adequate, the bathroom was modern but other guests left it in a disgusting mess

The rooms looked great on the page, great location, easy to get to. I don't mind a shared bathroom generally. But what they don't mention is that the apartment can only be reached by stairs that I can only describe as a deathtrap, stone, worn away in the middle with tight turns and part of the handrail missing. I'm disabled and could only get up them on all fours, and down on my backside. Awful. Avoid!

Full explained instructions were sent a day before my booking started, as there Is no member of staff in it.

We like the location and the easy communication with the host. Ok if you don't want to spend a lot of money for accommodation because Edinburghs hotels are pricey

The room smells off. We had the window open the whole time. The bed sheet had stains (curry?) but they changed it as soon as I mentioned it to them.

Don’t waste your money.

The location was within walking distance to murrayfield stadium which was fantastic.

No communication on how to enter property, when trying to call property it went straight to voicemail. Entrance was extremely unwelcoming and creepy, room was old and unclean. Do not stay here.

Happy with hotel, 2 day stay was great.

Location was great for us travelling to Edinburgh city centre and football match at Hearts FC.

Parking (which is out of hotels control). Limited to restrictions. No parking at hotel. Can only park for free until 0830am. Then it was nearly £7 an hour. Ticket wardens hunt in packs from 0825 onwards. Maybe some sort of permit would be very helpful. Car park prices around Edinburgh are really high.

Convenient location for a one-night visit on a cycle tour.

Very convenient location. Excellent clear instructions on how to gain access (key box). Was able to store bicycle in apartment overnight for security. It was quiet.

Perfect hotel for a short stay in Edinburgh

Location is perfect; right at Haymarket train station and just off Princes St. Lovely properly and fantastic staff. Very clean and bright. Great restaurants right there.

The rooms are nice but very small. Only the bed to sit on - no table or chair. However, very nice working and seating area in lobby.

No breakfast. Location was excellent
