Haymarket Station Rooms

Ive stayed here several times, and would do so again, as its clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and SO handy for Haymarket Station. You do have to share a bathroom, but there are 2 per 4 rooms, and I have never had to wait, something that always worries me if I have an early train. Its also on the route of the 100 airlink bus to the airport and has a well stocked Tesco supermarket just a few doors down. Its quiet with really comfortable beds and pillows, and in a city of hugely overpriced hotels, is an ideal bargain stay for a night.

nothing...it does what it says on the tin.

So impressed. Everything was stocked up in good time, easy access to the room, microwave, plate and cutlery available right outside the door. Lovely big room and very clean. Literally couldn't be happier and made our first time in Scotland so great. Extremely easy walk to the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. A Tescos 5 seconds away from the hotel. We liked it so much we will be booking to stay again next April.

Nothing

The location was great. Honestly, sharing the bathroom wasn't terrible. We swung through on business so being there less than 24hrs, it met our needs. We left an AirPods case with one AirPod (UGH!) but I contacted them and asked if they were willing to hold until we swung through again. Great communication...Ultimately, If you're super bougie...this isn't for you. It's a bit older/dated/worn, but if you're looking for a clean place with a great location and are able to overlook the lack of frills...you can't beat the price.

A small update I personally would make as the business owner...I'd carry the vinyl flooring into the bedrooms. The carpet in the room we stayed in definitely needs replacing. That or a professional deep steam clean.

Excellent location, comfy bed

Very dirty carpet in room, windows equally dirty, room had a kettle but difficult to fill in bathroom sink.
