Great location with city centre within walking distance and on-site parking. Hotel located in a Victorian house.
Although totally understandable, breakfast between 8 and 9 only, did not allow us the opportunity to sleep in a bit :)

Bed comfortable and linen crisp & fresh. En Suite small but furnished with every thing you need. The room, although it overlooked the main road was surprisingly quiet. It overlooked the beautiful buildings of The Donaldson's School for the Deaf.
Less than a five minute walk from Optical Express If you are contemplating Eye Surgery. CAR PARKING, a big bonus
On the second evening the room could have been a little warmer. After just having eye surgery I was restricted with impaired vision so unable to use the opportunity for exploring and remained in the room. It was cosy and warm in the mornings.
