Not suitable for multiple couples

Flexible timing of check-in in the evening. Hosts were lovely and the property was very clean. Apartment is located in a convenient location next to some restaurants and walking distance to some supermarkets.

The number of double beds did not match the description - it was only 1 double bed and otherwise single beds. The apartment is not suitable for multiple couples but only one large family with multiple kids - the ceilings are very low above many of the beds. The pictures of the property were misleading - we wouldn't have booked this apartment if we knew. Otherwise our stay was fine. Some other minor things: The promised car par was not available during our stay which made parking quite tricky as we had multiple cars and were hoping to park at least one car onsite. Finding the keys in the lock box was not intuitive as the box numbering did not match the apartment numbering and caused unnecessary confusion. We then had to climb 3 sets of stairs. There is an espresso machine but not cups that can be used with it.

Lovely clean apartment in village location

Booking, correspondence with the host was all good and access out of hours to the apartment via a key box. Property was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and good facilities.

We expected 3 doubles and a sofa bed (travelling with 3 adult children) but got one double and 5 singles across all the rooms with sloping ceilings. All rooms much smaller than the photos on the advert show - would be ideal if you are travelling with smaller children.

A perfect solution for a stay in family in South Bavaria

Location is perfect: close to the center of the city and to the shopping center at the same time. The apartment is really quiet and very clean. All the comfort to spent a week with the family in very nice conditions. The welcoming is also very appreciated (nice presents and person in contact always very thoughtful to ensure a nice stay with different services).

Minor topic: - to be clearer in the description of the apartment that washing machine is available but not directly the apartment. In any case, the contact person ensured we had access to it at the time slot we needed.

Comfortable location for a family trip in the mountains

The apartment is big and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped.

Not a deal breaker, but the parking space is not ample. Coming with two cars we had to manouever to fit them in the available space.

A beautiful gem in Oberammergau.

The location, free parking, the mountain views. Very close to everything - supermarkets, train station, bus station, restaurants. It was quiet even though it was in the middle of the town. Love the information guides and a very responsive management team. Bathroom was beautiful and spacious.

A quirky set up of the 2 of 3 bedrooms. Okay for kids because of the sloping walls. Checkout could have been slightly later.

Lovely little apartment at the foot of the mountains

What a cute little vacation apartment! We loved this place, and the owners were fantastic. Very clean and pleasant smell throughout. Radiator heat works well. Not sure what it’s rated for, but you could fit three adults and two medium sized teenagers between the master bedroom, second bedroom and couch. While small, it’s got almost all the amenities you might want. Windows are the standard lovely German kind that open like a door or from the top depending on the position of the lever. Oberammergau is such a quaint little town with beautiful shops and eateries, and Ferienwohnung an der Ammer is perfectly located within walking distance of the Passion Theater and tourist area on one side, and the Lidl on the other. Would definitely book again!

The only complaint we had was that the parking is extremely tight. Make sure you have a small car! No microwave.

The property was perfectly situated. The kitchens was well quipped.

The rooms were awkward. It advertised as a 3 bedroom, but the so called third room room was tiny and I could only upright (I'm 182 CM) in about 1 metre of the room. The loft was a similar problem.

Keep in mind - no freezer. Coffee machine - best! Cappuccinator-heater milk-foam maker! Comfortable beds, sheets. Clean bathroom. View on the mountains. Evening sun on the balcony. Amazing! Well decorated apartment. Definitely recommend this place.

No freezer) we couldn’t store the ice cream. Not actually a big problem. A bit dark ceiling light. Also not a reason to lower the rating.

Spacious apartment for family

-Spacious apartment, suitable for family or friends. Kitchenware and kitchen facilities are good for cooking and having meals together. Washing machine is also available. -Good wifi signal but you have to find the right password one, which appeared to be behind the wifi box. (Not use the one written on the guest’s file.) -Stairs to climb up!! So, if you are group of backpackers, do not hesitate to reserve. -Key was very stiff, difficult to unlock.

Such a nice, huge and fully equipped apartment in a perfect distance to the city center. Highly recommended also for longer stays.

inschikken en accepteren want er kwam geen redelijke oplossing

de locatie

Het appartement voldeed absoluut niet aan de verwachting omdat de informatie op de booking.com site niet klopte en misleidend was. Het lijkt een groot appartement maar er is maar 1 slaapkamer met een dubbel bed (met 2 éénpersoons dekbedden). Alle ander slaapplekken (5) waren in een voormalige rommelhok, een zoldertje of een kamertje met een nis zonder stahoogte (dat mogen niet eens kamers genoemd worden). Dit was slecht te doen en er waren zeker geen dubbele bedden (volgens de site hadden er 3 moeten zijn). De foto's suggereerden veel meer dan we kregen. De host vertelde dat we de lossen bedden maar tegen elkaar aan moesten schuiven om dubbele bedden te creëren. Ik neem booking.com kwalijk dat ze de info op hun site niet controleren voor publicatie. De keuken was slechts te betreden door 1 persoon tegelijkertijd en het bereiden van een maaltijd voor meer dan 3 personen is bijna onmogelijk daar. De badkamer was ruim en goed. Grote delen van het appartement (niet alleen de gang) hebben te weinig hoogte om ze officieel woonruimte te mogen noemen. Alleen de woonkamer had een plafond dat meer dan 2 meter hoog was.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Sehr schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Es ist alles vorhanden. Die Betten waren bequem. Alles war sehr sauber. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war perfekt.

Der Schlüssel für die Haustür hat geklemmt und wir wären nachts fast nicht mehr ins Haus gekommen ;)

Komfortable Unterkunft mit Wow-Effekt

Luxuriöse Ausstattung mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Sehr sauber, freundlicher Service (telefonisch), kostenloses Parken, Haushaltsbasics reichlich vorhanden sowie gratis Begrüßungsgetränke. Sind nur ungern wieder weg gefahren ;-).

Super Lage, saubere Ferienwohnung

Freundliches Personal immer per Nachricht erreichbar, man hat alles was man braucht (Kaffee, Tee, Salz, Öl, …). Eine Flasche Wein&Wasser Begrüßungsgeschenk fanden wir sehr nett :) auf Anfrage durften wir 2 Stunden früher einchecken, was super war. Schöner Balkon. Alles sauber !

Fabuloso

Estupendo apartamento, muy cómodo y muy limpio, con todo el menaje y lo que se puede necesitar (menos lavadora ni microondas). Con muchos detalles, incluyendo un pack de bienvenida con botella de vino, agua, etc. También pudimos aparcar en la parte de atrás del edificio. Las anfitrionas disponibles todo el tiempo, muy amables y dispuestas a ayudar. La ubicación estupenda, cerca de todo a pie. El pueblo es precioso.

Tolle Lage zur Innenstadt. Ferienwohnung sauber und gut ausgestattet. Personal sehr freundlich.

Das Schlafsofa ist für einen Erwachsenen nur eine Notlösung. Abends war es durch die Mieter mit 4 Hunden der anliegende Mietwohnung doch sehr laut.(Apartment zweite Etage)

Ich möchte Ihnen mitteilen, dass es eine ausgezeichnete Erfahrung war. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, alles Nötige war vorhanden und die Lage war super. In der Umgebung der Wohnung gibt es viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, die wirklich einen Besuch wert sind. Vielen Dank. Beste grüße.

Апартаменты расположены очень близко к центру города. 5 минут и вы осматриваете местную красоту домов и мастерство резчиков по дереву. Внутри апартаментов очень чисто, все для пребывания есть, также есть парковочное место. Идеально для семьи с 2-мя детьми.

Не любым 4-м взрослым подойдет. Кому-то придется спать на одном из ярусов двухярусной детской кровати, либо на диване в общей комнате.

Tolle Unterkunft für unseren Urlaub

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und modern eingerichtet und sie war mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Der selbstständige Check-in hat reibungslos funktioniert. Die Lage ist perfekt um ins Zentrum zu laufen wo Restaurants und Geschäfte auf einen Warten. Der Parkplatz wsr zwar etwas eng, aber kostenlos. Ansprechpartner waren über Booking Messenger jederzeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Es standen 2 Getränke zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mir persönlich war die Matratze zu hart und die Dusche war für meinen 2 m großen Mann von der Höhe her zu klein.

Der Fernseher ist ein Internet-TV mit dem es uns nicht gelungen ist (auch nach Anmeldung) ganz normale Nachrichten auf ARD oder ZDF live zu sehen. Die Wohnung bietet maximal 6 Schlafgästen Platz, die allerdings nicht zusammen an einem Esstisch sitzen können. Teekanne und Kaffekanne wären schön!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt

Eine tolle Lage zur Innenstadt, sehr sehr sauber und Espresso oder ein Saft sofort getrunken werden. Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber und immer erreichbar. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine Filterkaffeemaschine wäre nicht schlecht, ist aber nicht zwingend notwendig.
