Alpen Deluxe Oberammergau

A wonderful stay in Oberammergau! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Alpen Deluxe Oberammergau. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were fantastic — genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful. They was always easy to reach whenever we needed anything and took care of every request with a smile. They made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment itself was superb and, in fact, even better than it looks in the photos. It was exceptionally clean — genuinely the kind of clean where you feel you could eat off the floor! Everything was very well maintained, the beds were comfortable with good mattresses, and the area was wonderfully quiet at night. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed, and the bathroom was excellent. The apartment also has a lovely balcony with a beautiful view, in a peaceful, almost dreamy neighbourhood. It was also perfect for us travelling with a young child. One of our favourite features was the huge shared garden and outdoor area. It was fenced, so our child could safely play outside, and we spent a lot of time there. The location is excellent. The centre of Oberammergau is easily reachable on foot, while getting in and out of the village by car is very convenient, making the apartment a great base for day trips around the region. Private parking is provided just outside the apartment, which made everything even easier. Oberammergau itself was another highlight of our stay. It is a beautiful village full of traditional Bavarian buildings, excellent bakeries and very good restaurants. It is small enough to retain a charming, rustic atmosphere, while still having everything you might need for a longer stay, including Lidl, Müller, petrol stations and other shops and services. Between the apartment, the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful village and the hospitality of our host, we really could not have asked for more.

Everything was beautiful and pleasant. The hotel is located in a really beautiful village, and the hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming.

The apartment was beautiful, we loved sitting out on the balcony for breakfasts and dinners looking out over the beautiful views. It was well equipped, and they provided a high chair and a travel cot (with mattress and bedding) for our toddler. It was in a great location to explore Oberammagau and the surrounding areas. The apartment stayed lovely and cool despite the really hot weather. The hosts were amazing and friendly- and really helped us out when we had a medical emergency and needed to get to a&e.

We liked everything- the only minor things were perhaps a second set of keys would be useful and some more beer glasses!

Pillows were a bit limp. Self locking door could get you in trouble
