The area is beautiful and a nice place to stay.

It was cold at night in the bedrooms so we would have liked a few extra blankets.

Bijou but perfectly formed.

Great views with a large balcony. Lovely and clean. A small apartment but having the small area with the bunk beds meant we could stash our suitcases in there so they weren’t in the way. In a nice quiet area. Having parking was a bonus. Bed was comfy but the pillows were very flat, however, I swapped mine for one of the pillows on the bunk beds and that was much better (it was like a soft memory foam). Only a 10 minute walk into town so well located.

Would have benefited from a folder with useful info (nearest supermarket, places to eat etc). Also two small side tables for either side of the sofa would be good). We had to place our drinks on the floor which wasn’t ideal. This apartment is bijou so good for couples but I wouldn’t recommend for a family of four!

Was a wonderful stay in Oberammergau

The kitchen was very useful as it has the necessary utensils for basic cooking. Sitting area was cozy and the fact there was Netflix was a plus point. The location is in a beautiful town.

The bedroom could have been well lighted, was a bit too dim for us. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable and the pillows were just too soft.

A beautiful spacious apartment with relaxing nature views

We enjoyed our stay in this super large and beautiful apartment. We loved the two balconies, where we enjoyed the view of the mountains. Kitchen is fully equipped, a nice dining area and comfortable living room. Two bedrooms and one large shower. The apartment was perfect for us a family of four plus our dog. Private parking in front of the building. The communication with the owner was brief but very attentive and friendly. We liked the area, central, close to other beautiful villages and nature. We will love to be back!

A lovely place to stay while visiting Oberammergau and surroundings!

The two apartments we rented for our family were each spacious, attractive, very clean and well-equipped. We appreciated having the use of a washer to do laundry. The hosts were helpful. The property is nicely landscaped, has lovely views from the balconies and is located in a pleasant neighborhood with a short walk into the center of Oberammergau. It was a pleasure to stay there. We would have been happy to stay longer if our travel plans had allowed!

Great 4 Day Stay

The location was superb. Beautiful views and two balconies to enjoy them from. The town of Oberramergau was also great, with lots of history, shops and restaurants. We stayed in Apartment 13 Kolben. It was very clean and well equipped as well as being very comfortable and suited us well as a family of 4 (with two teenage sons). The shared laundry facility in the basement was very welcome. The addition of an Amazon Firestick or Smart TV would enable access to English TV channels and would be simple and cheap to implement as there was really good wi-fi.

The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary elements for a comfortable stay. Additional pillows would have been helpful (there was just one flattish pillow per person).

We never met the hosts. The keys were in an envelope located in a mailbox at the entrance of the building. The envelope was written just in German and provided an outdated excuse (Coronavirus) for not meeting in person. The parking lot for the apartments was always full and we had to park on the street in areas that were not clearly marked as available for parking. The TV never worked.

Apartment with mountain views.

It's the fact that no one bothered us during our stay. It's 10 minutes walk from most restaurants and 15 minute walk to downtown. The views are awesome and the apartment have 2 balconies. Could easily fit 5-6 people. Fridge and the kitchen were convenient. Dining room was big enough for 4 guests. Would recommend 100%.

It's a little walk from where we parked to the apartment. We didn't mind it arriving there thou we had a few stuff to carry from the car to the apartment. The inconvenience of it (walk from the apartment to the parking space) came in when it started to rain when we left the apartment on our last day. We didn't see where the washer and dryer were. It's probably somewhere around the building but it weren't inside the apartment we stayed in. We could've asked but it should've been advised inside the apartment or their page. Other than that, it was an overall good stay.

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, easy walk to Passion Play theatre and town center.

Spacious apartment with balconies to enjoy morning coffee and evening stargazing. Host went out of his way to help us with Passion Play tickets.

We had a trouble figuring out the television and internet signal was spotty, but that's not how we spent our time.

Restful and comfortable-a great place to stay.

Wonderful flat with great views. Host very helpful. Clothes washing facilities which was a real bonus.

Two really small details. A tray and a water jug would have been helpful but otherwise can’t fault the place. Worth noting that it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station which could feel a long way with a suitcase.

Very good base if attending the Passion Play

The apartment is a short walk from the centre of Oberammergau and the theatre, so ideal if you are going to the Passion Play as you can walk back during the interval. Although the hosts didn't meet us on arrival, apparently because of covid (though virtually all rules have been lifted in Germany), they were very responsive when we couldn't get the cooker to work or find the hairdryer.

Although I am sure it was necessary, the water supply was being worked on while we were there so there was lots of noise on one or two days and the water was cut off at one point.

Beautiful location. Host very helpful on booking, on arrival and during the stay. Kitchen well equipped. Clear instructions. Balconies with great views. Comfortable seating in lounge. Good shower and bath. Plentiful hot water. Bedrooms spacious. Free parking.

Unfortunately you had to through the bathroom to access one of the 3 bedrooms. A bit inconvenient, although was a separate toilet. This the only downside and was fine for us as there were only 3 of us. Everything else was excellent.

AlpenDeluxe....a little spot of heaven in Oberammergau.

This apartment was a great find. Within easy reach of all the cross-country ski trails, a short walk from the local indoor pool and the Laber Mtn cable car with its wonderful mountain top cafe (great food) and incredible vistas. A short walk (5-10mins) into central Oberammergau for all local amenities, shops, cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a self-catering stay. Two great balconies (one off the living area, one off the main bedroom) with great views. Parking was available if you had a vehicle and public transport was readily available and the train stn was a 10-20min walk away. Would definitely use this apartment again.

Not part of the KonigsCard scheme. This is a minor observation and should not detract from the apartment which was immaculate, but maybe important for other visitors.

It was quiet, even though we have two small kids it was still quiet. Being able to see the hills in the morning was great. It was clean and plenty of towels. Also within walking distance of the center of town and not far away from all our destinations
