The property was nice. The view of the rice field behind was peaceful.
The host was mostly very responsive and helpful.
There was a bedroom that was damp with evidence of water leaking and a strong smell of mould/ damp. It was to the point that our teenager didn't even use the attached unsuite and had multiple air freshners in the room.
For the price point I would expect a higher level of cleanliness (bathroom niche definitely not cleaned in a long time as build up under the statues).
Was very disappointing that I requested a massage be organised for my husbands 50th birthday for first thing in the morning and the host forgot to book this. I didn't find this out until the day when I messaged the host to ask where the massage therapist was.
He did try and find someone to come as soon as possible but my husband wanted to continue with his birthday celebrations for the day and it would've thrown the rest of plans out to be delayed.
The property is tricky to find, quite far from the centre of Ubud which we found a challenge.
