Kakul Villas & Suites Ubud

It was a beautiful property with lush green surroundings and a private pool right in the front yard .The bedrooms, the bathrooms and the kitchen was excellent for a private stay of a family of 5

The villa itself feels like a retreat home. It has a warm vibe that feels like going home to your grandma’s house.

It was just a little far to the center.

The Rama Villa (3 rooms) is spacious, and the beds in all rooms are big and comfortable. The private pool is clean and good for playing and relaxing. Breakfast is very basic, with 4 options, but it is sufficient and good. I especially liked the scrambled eggs. It is a quiet place, perfect for a peaceful stay. The kitchen is equipped with only minimal utensils, which are not sufficient for proper cooking. The rooms were cleaned daily whenever we informed the reception. A washing machine is provided, but it is located in a dark area. The staff are very friendly and quickly arranged adaptors for mobile charging when requested.

The villa area becomes very dark in the evenings, making it uncomfortable to walk around with kids. The pool area does not have enough lighting, and there is no proper boundary wall. The bushes around the area make children feel scared to enter the pool in the evening. The rooms are not connected, so the kids were uncomfortable sleeping alone. As a result, we all had to share a single room even though we booked 3 rooms. The lighting throughout the property needs improvement. The property is very far from all amenities.

It was good but we were travelling with my older Mum who struggles on her feet and it never mentioned that the villa was down stairs.
