What a fabulous find for our overnight stay We were amazed from the minute we arrived with this stunning newly thatched pub The welcome from all of the staff was wonderful and the room was perfect! We were particularly happy to see PGTips TBags in the breakfast pack and the lovely touch of the mini fridge with fresh milk! Thank you for the lovely meal in the pub on Saturday evening it was all just wonderful We will be back!

Quite location but a busy pub used by locals, had a great vibe, nice beer garden, beautiful thatch roof, very clean room with comfortable bed. We didn’t have lunch, but they had a food van on site the food was lovely, very friendly people & staff lovely, will definitely be back

The rooms are in an old converted barn or shed at the back of the pub, they are bright clean and cheerful the beds are very comfortable.The pub is very old and is situated in a lovely village, with pond and church. There are other lovely villages nearby. Some nice walks directly from the pub.
It is a very nice set up and there was nothing bad at all. There was no cooked breakfast, but bread , a toaster cereals, tea coffee etc are provided in the rooms. We were lucky that the weather was beautiful and we were able to eat outside. A covered area outside would have been nice if it had been raining. A bit more space for preparing and eating breakfast would have been useful, but that is a minor point and did not detract from a lovely few days.
