Perfectly located, comfortable 2/3 star hotel

While this is a basic hotel, you get what you pay for, it is clean, comfortable and fabulously located for a short walk into the town centre. Parking is free too

Would be happy to stay again.

Great location for the City centre. Basic but everything we needed for a one night stay while visiting family. On site parking all day on the day of departure was available. Check in was straightforward and receptionist was really helpful when I couldn’t get the heater to turn on. Clean room with more than enough facilities to make our stay vomfortable. A short walk to a number of bars and restaurants.

Convenient location to downtown shops, cafes and pubs.

Close to the Cathedral and short walking distance to downtown Norwich. My room was behind reception with a door facing the parking lot so easy access. Close walking distance to pubs.

The room is dated - liike 80's motel room. Wasn't a fan of the shower - very small and had a stuck hot water dial which made it difficult to shower with comfortable temperature water.

If you need somewhere cheap to put your head for the night, this will do just fine!

Close to the city centre, although we got confused with the hotel and the accommodation that goes by the same name next door, so we went in there in error first!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - super hard mattress.

This property is vastly improved since year ago when I stayed. It is ideally located for access to central Norwich and plenty of parking.

After checking in I was told my room was in the adjacent building.

Great location , gorgeous surroundings

Location, were a band playing in Norwich so scenery wasn’t on our priorities, but nice building, amazing church behind it , beds were clean, would happily stay again

Windows were dirty with black mould on the panes, bathroom needed a redo it wasn’t the best but for the price that’s my ONLY negative, I would gladly stay again

Hotel looked lovely from the outside, rather simple on the inside but this was reflected the price

Location was good, space in carpark for my van which is great, did not realise there was no option to buy food but room had facilities to use and staff were very helpful guiding me to a supermarket. Booked last minute so did not read all the information but on reflection I was happy to purchase something and stay in the room to eat as that is my preference anyway.

Could do with an upgrade but I repect the price would have to increase then

great location, great room but even better staff

I came to the hotel to stay for new years, the hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the city, pretty good for what's in the rooms and overall i had a good time. The BEST thing about the hotel however was the staff. Everyone i got to speak to was very friendly and accommodating. A big shoutout to Hannah (thank you for letting my girlfriend feed the fish there, it made the trip) and to Ali (thanks for our 30 minute conversation, keep smiling bro) Never had a chance to speak to the other staff but from what i overheard everyone was very nice. Which means you know if you have any problem with anything there, you will be seen to. Thanks again guys and happy new year!

Cheap and cheerful if not needing slight improvement

Rooms are very reasonably priced, warm and well sized. Good free wifi

In contrast to our last stay the cleanliness was not quite up to scratch. The toilet needed bleaching and there was a lot of marks on the walls. The bed was on wheels but hadn’t had the stop put on and we couldn’t see how to do this so it moved if lent on.

The location was perfect for getting into the city centre.

The room was small, the bathroom very col, no double glazing. Nowhere to hang towels or put things. Quite noisy at night. No change of towels or cleaning in 5 days.

Good location! Good value!

Draught from the window. Blinds did not block out much light. No hanging space for clothes. No mirror in the bedroom. Stains on the bed sheets of the double bed and one of the single beds.

Close to city centre and a good price. Facilities - kettle, microwave and air fryer available in the room, as no food at the hotel.

My first choice if we go back!

Excellent location just a ten mins walk to city centre but in a quiet area there was a good sized car park for about 15 cars and they will let you leave your car there and walk in to the city centre on the last day of your stay until 10pm it said! a nice sized room and a big bathroom with a walk in shower it was lovely and warm there was an electric heater in the bedroom that we could set to whatever temp we wanted and the room stayed at that temp even tho it was frosty outside and on a plus side we had a kettle a fridge a microwave oven and an airfrier!! So we could have breakfast a cuppa or a meal in the room anytime we wanted we would definitely go back especially for the money we paid

Perfect small clean hotel for a quick weekend trip

The hotel was good value for money, our room was basic but clean and met my expectations

There was some kind of draft noise, almost as if there was a chimney in the room - I’m a deep sleeper so it wasn’t too bad once I drifted off but I can imagine if you were a light sleeper it would be very annoying

Good location, value for money.

Ideal location for attending a family wedding. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean.

The bathroom needs a deep clean to remove mould in the shower area, tile grouting and paint from the floor tiles. The low level boxing in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, dust and hair on it. Very dim lighting in the room. Even with all the lights on including the desk lamp it still wasn’t really enough. LED lighting would be better.

Bedding wasn't clean. Wasn't informed of check out procedure therefore, posted keys in box outside however, this was not marked box and therefore unsure if this was correct.

Has potential but needs some work

There was plenty of parking, a smart tv, a fridge and a microwave

The blinds will not go all the way down and the room was facing the road - the bed were on the wrong wall, away from power point and tv - the fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise - the beds were very hard - there were coffee facilities but no milk - there was little toilet paper and not a spare one - the handle of the bathroom door will not open from the inside.

Ok with mates but not with my wife.

Ideal location to visit Norwich city, 10 min walk and your in the centre. Parking good. Excellent hot shower, fridge, kettle, microwave tv in room. Towels provided. Good price, comfy bed.

Not the cleanest, dirt around outside of shower tray, obvious dust and debris around fridge and under sink unit. Hand prints on wall above bed! Room 3 small double on main road, dble glazed sash window but noise was like from an open window, traffic and people noise going past all hours, woke sev times throughout 1st night noise outside and inside hotel. 2nd night slept like a log due to whisky! Mates staying in rooms at rear had no problems with noise.

Great place to stay.

The location was exactly where I wanted to be, easy to get to and 10 minutes from where I was going. The young lady in reception was very polite, friendly and professional. My room was excellent with the added bonus of a kitchenette. The shower in the en-suite was hot and powerful. The parking was good. Great stay all round. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again, good value for the money.

Location worked for us for a one night stay

Good location, free parking a bonus and plenty of space, helpful that could leave car there post check out. Helpful and friendly staff. Bed comfortable.

All the empty kitchen units in the bedroom strange, had no use and took up space but then no wardrobe. A lamp or means to switch main light off by the bed would be useful, rather than one switch just by the door.

Parking very good and the fridge was a bonus. Good sized bathroom and shower.

WiFi not great. A few more toiletries - shower cap etc. Also, a fresh dish sponge - we had to bin ours on arrival as too tatty to use. Net curtains would be good as windows very exposed to car park.
