Great location, clean apartment. Friendly guy (not the owner) met us with the keys. Steps to the old port and the excellent Museum of the History of Marseille. Some nice Moroccan places in the neighborhood - great Algenian bakery around the corner.
Wifi didn't work. When we messaged the owner, he asked us to text his guy. It wasn't important enough for us to bother.

The place is very new, clean, well equipped with everything we need. There are more than enough bathrooms and toilets in the place which I think it’s not common in France. The terrace is a huge plus too and we had a fun bbq night up there with the jacuzzi.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. The staircase leading up to it and the building itself are very run down. But the inside of the apartment is totally different so it’s ok.
