Comfortable, good size rooms

Location is great. Room was nicely decorated. Lift available.

Place was not clean properly. There was no place to put the soap in the shower and there were barely no toiletries left. Bathroom needed cleaning. There was a glass with dirty water left on the fireplace mantle upon our arrival. We had to buy trash bags, bath soap, and toilet paper. Only one little trash can in the bathroom and one little one in the kitchen. Manager was over 30 minutes late for check in and greeting.

Good location, a bit noisy.

We liked the location, it is close to everything, you can walk in all touristic point. the bed was comfortable and the temperature was perfect. A fully equipped kitchen

It is a very noisy place, the neighbours and the neighbourhood. 2 out of 4 nights the elevator did not work and the apartment was situated at the 5th floor , so it was unpleasant. Being in a very central area, the sourroundings were not so clean, we saw 2 or 3 times rates on the streets.

Excellent location, facilities, everything

It was a large and clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen. The location was excellent; further, it was in a crowded part of town but there was still more than enough sunlight in the apartment from windows and skylights.

The property was advertised as having a lift but it went up only to the 5th floor and the rooms were on the 6th floor, so we had to drag our suitcases up that last flight.

Disappointing and poorly organised.

The key hand over occurred okay although we had trouble making contact with the person

The apartment was quite acceptable, but smelt all the time. There was strong sour, stagnant water smell. While the individual apartment was nicely set out while good appliances etc, the building it was in was very old and run-down, with poor lighting. We also lost money on the stay, as they mistakenly took out the cost of the stay twice. They refunded it, but we lost money on the exchange rates, bank charges and Booking.com's share. So even though it was not our fault that they took two payments, we ended up being out of pocket.

Good value for money

Great location, the place is well equipped (fridge, stove, coffee, kettle, iron, hair dryer) and the AC works well. The apartment was on the 5th floor with elevator.

Very cosy stay, in such an excellent location

The host was very friendly, waiting for us at the arrival time, and took us through a quick tour of the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed, with the a well equipped kitchenette, a large sofa, in addition to the cosy bedroom. The apartment is located just a few minutes away from so many points of interest, we loved that, while still being quiet.

There was no table and there were no chairs (just one stool). The particular room that I got did not feature at all in any of the many photos on the web page and was completely substandard compare to the ones that were. The cleanliness was also substandard.

How to check-in...

Location was great for experiencing the old city areas. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was very well equiped.

Checkin was awful. Agreed to meet Sonia at the property. No door codes for access info was given. We had therefore assumed we were meeting ny the front door. 40min of waiting and we discovered uaing a local wifi connection thay Sonia had been waiting inside the property..... ahe still didi not come down to meet us.. finally got the door codes.. when we did meet.. it all 'was not my problem... not my fault...' and blamed ua.. thoroughly ridiculous situation. So please pre-send access codes and clear messages ro your gueats for check-in, send a meet and greet peraon who has at leasr a tiny amount of customer service capability. DO NOT expect foreign guest to have wifi access for takening crap details over Whatsapp at the front door. The smell was awful coming from the sink in the bathroom which has to be plugged all the times to prevent it.... so please inblock the drain.

Lost 700 euros because of these thieves.

Even now , that I write this “review “ I see a different picture than the s*** they gave me.. They scammed me with some really wonderful pictures that I gladly booked and then I received a space where the bed mattress was inclined, the shower fit for a hobbit (no offense meant to anyone out there), the table and chair I had booked in order to work were non existent and the balcony that the initial pictures had was probably demolished till my arrival. Simply said that have this scam scheme where you book something, they send you the contract 3-4 days later (where there is a DIFFERENT room) and you pay for it without noticing the huge difference… The biggest shame in all of this is that Booking.com didn’t do anything to protect me. Just shameful…

Clean, bright, cozy space with great night views.

The apartment was clean and cozy. Great views from the windows. A bright cheery room. Comfortable bed and super location to the port and metro. Shower a bit tight but decent water pressure. Option to cook in the kitchenette. We would stay here again.

The accommodation is excellent, the location is exceptional, a minute's walk from the old port and the metro station. The building in which the accommodation is located is in excellent condition. The accommodation is well equipped and clean.

Unfortunately, I had great inconvenience with the reservation of this accommodation. I booked accommodation in January for July at a very good price. In April, my reservation was canceled with the explanation that there was an error when determining the price... Since this accommodation suited me, I immediately booked at the new price (the difference was about 200 euros). I understand that there was probably a mistake, but my reservation should not have been canceled in such a way. Very, very unprofessional. That's the only reason I can't give it the highest rating.

Perfect ! We could not have asked for a better stay. Marseille has definitely conquered our hearts.

The location could not have been better: in the heart of the Vieux Port, near the Tourist Office, supermarket, endless choice of cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and has a well furnished kitchen. It was fresh despite of the heat outside.

Super central location – nice area in walking distance to many places and metro stations. Supermarket located in the same building.

Lack of good chairs and a coffee table as illustrated on pictures. Bed uncomfortable and the sofa seemed old and not pleasant. The toilet door is not very practical Only one wine glass and poor frying pans. Location on 6th-7th floor with a lift to 1½ floor underneath (luckily well-functioning during our stay).

Ideal for a short break for one person

This is an excellently located property at the heart of the Vieux Port - almost everything in Marseille that you could want to see is within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is very compact but fine for one person for a short stay, especially if you use it is a base for sight-seeing. Despite its central location it's not a particularly noisy area although street-cleaning (as in other French towns) starts early in the morning. There is a lift to the fifth floor and the apartment is on the sixth, so bear this in mind. The bathroom is small but adequate for one person. The host who met me to hand over the keys way very friendly and responsive; my train was slightly late and she was able to adjust her schedule appropriately. Communications with the property generally were easy and extensive.

Very nice location but shower is very uncomfortable.

Location is excellent!

We stayed in the ‘parme’ apartment. Bathroom is uncomfortable - it is very small and shower is in the eaves, it is impossible to shower standing up. Also, the skylight in the bedroom does not open, making it a bit stuffy and dark.

Good location, awful accommodation. Do not stay there.

The only good thing was the central location. The accommodation was a complete disaster.

The flat was filthy, needs a big deep clean and refurbishment. The curtains had yellow stains on them, dust and stains were visible on the cushions and couch. Everything was sticky in the kitchen. Bathroom is very small and also dirty. Bed was very uncomfortable and we are convinced there were bed bugs as both myself and my partner were covered in little itchy bites. It was that bad that we stayed there for 2 nights and booked and paid for another accommodation. Extremely dissapointed, having in mind the price we paid. Information regarding the bins was not disclosed on arrival, only got an email after we checked out that we must take the bin out and put towels in a non existing laundry basket. Do not stay there !

Ideal place to stay for a short break in Marseille. Very close to old port.

Host contacted me in advance to arrange pick up of the keys. Met at the property and everything was explained. Check out time was good (not too early).

great location- basic facilities

fabulous location and quiet with great views. elevator to 5th floor and easy walk with cases to one floor higher.

stake smell, basic facilities- eg just one wine glass. bed uncomfortable and sofa looked old and tired. the person who met us to give us the key wasn’t helpful- we told her what time the train arrived and she was already at the apartment and not happy to wait, she went to another appointment and we waited about 50 minutes for her to return. she seemed angry at having to return- didn’t offer any local advice- literally just handed over keys and check out times. very surly!

Very good

Location superb to explore, just round the corner to the old port. Supermarket next door. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lift was working, we had previously been informed it was broken. This was a massive plus, has we were on the 5th floor.

Great location, very convenient to explore the city. Lift to reach the fifth floor (then, there are still a few steps to reach the door, on the top floor). The room is big.

Unfortunately there was a terrible smell coming out of the bathroom at night time. Minor, there was no mettress cover, only the sheet below.

Good concept but in need of renovation

The location is perfect. Right in the center and at the port. Very nice Building. The apartment has a good size for 2 people and has a regular standard.

At first glance clean but at second glance a lot of old dirt everywhere. We had to clean the room first by ourselves to feel comfortable. The equipment is very used. The bathroom and shower ist extremely small for a regular sized man.

Exceptional

Excellent check-in and welcome. Very responsive and friendly introduction from Sirene. Spacious, airy, clean appartment. Very secure with 3 secured doors to enter appt and great location in the heart of le vieux port. Very good WiFi. Next door to a supermarket and close to metro. Lots of cafes and restaurants within close walking distance. Perfect for our stay of 3 nights.

It is central so bit of nightime noise from outside.

There were to issues with our room: the smell in the bathroom coming from the sewers and the fact that all noises from adjacent rooms could be easily heard.
