We never stayed there because the keys were not available and the unit not accessible if we got them

they never showed up to get us the keys. Police stopped by and they couldn't contact them either. Finally found another place. Still can't get any refunds. Police said the unit is in a bad part of town.

No one to get us the keys after making clear when we would be there. Property had nine steep steps to the minuscule elevator after we made clear we needed wheelchair access to the unit.

unpleasant experience—people were not very friendly towards foreigners and generall

The host was not very friendly, especially towards non-European foreigners. Although the checkout time is listed as 2 PM, it actually depends on the host’s availability. In my case, I had scheduled a 6 PM checkout, but when I tried to arrive at the property earlier, around 2 PM, the host refused due to the previously scheduled time. Unfortunately, the property is located in downtown Marseille, in an area that feels unsafe both during the day and at night. Overall, the experience was not welcoming—interactions with the staff, from the initial WhatsApp communication to the checkout with the cleaning staff, were impolite and unprofessional. They seemed eager to rush guests out, and there was a general lack of courtesy from the local team. I would recommend staying in a hotel instead when visiting Marseille.

Du vol de caution tout simplement

Le lieu ne correspondait pas à ce qui était attendu. Il s’agissait d’un endroit peu fréquentable et d’un appartement ne correspondant pas aux photos présentées. À notre arrivée, nous avons dû effectuer le ménage et laver les draps, ceux-ci étant sales. Le séjour s’est ensuite déroulé correctement, une fois installés dans un lieu propre avec du linge lavé, mais cela nous a fait perdre un temps conséquent. En outre, le propriétaire réclame aujourd’hui la caution de 537,78 €, ce qui est inacceptable. Il affirme s’être fait voler 8 draps, des serviettes ainsi qu’une bouilloire, sans apporter la moindre preuve. Je trouve cette procédure profondément injuste et abusive. Il est inadmissible de pouvoir prélever une caution sur la base d’accusations non étayées, en profitant d’un rapport de force défavorable au locataire.

En l’absence : d’un état des lieux de sortie contradictoire, de preuves matérielles établissant ma responsabilité directe, et d’un inventaire signé justifiant la présence des biens mentionnés, cet encaissement est, à mes yeux, infondé et injustifié. Le séjour perd tous son sens/

Bel espace, très peu meublé; d’un sale irrespectueux

La saleté , repoussante: matelas, couettes., Oreillers, tachés, sans aleze!; cafards ; radiateur électrique dont la commande ne marche pas et tient avec du scotch; grille pain rempli de détritus; micro-onde sale; pas de table de nuit ni liseuse; copropriété mal entretenue; localisation: ne pas rentrer tard le soir !
