This was our second stay, and the first stay was a much better experience. I found a sock in the sheet from the previous tenant, a hair tie under the bed, and the toilet was full of “human waste” when we checked in. The toilet also ran the entire stay, which could be the reason why, but it was also annoying. During our stay, we brought our 3 year old son (which we recorded on Hotels.com). There were many children making noises throughout the hotel (it’s Christmas time). We got a call for a noise complaint and asked to move rooms to the floor level at 10:00 pm even though our son wasn’t making near the amount of noise as others. The hotel should’ve taken that into consideration before placing us originally in the upstairs room. We didn’t feel comfortable the rest of the stay. After our previous stay, I had in mind to stay here each visit to the smokies. After this experience, I’ll be staying elsewhere. Aside from that: friendly staff, affordable, semi-clean rooms, plenty of towels. I’d rank a 6.5/10.

Food quality was bad. Rest was ok but the main front door didn’t lock properly and under the door there was constant cold air coming so we were blasting the heat. Room number 103.

The door was not secure. The room was dirty as well as the shower. The room had a single chair to set on. The bed was very uncomfortable. We were roomed right in-between a barking dog and and crying baby all night. When telling the desk attendant about the door she seemed unbothered.

Staff , but you need to up grade your hotel , bathroom have mold in shower , in the larger rooms should have a table for the kitchenette, your doors need to be oiled , we said something to your cleaning lady but she doesn’t understand English

The staff was amazing but the hotel itself is old. The floor creaks when you walk on it, some of the sheets were stained, and then the tvs are outdated they barely work . It was hard to sleep the days we were there but the staff made sure we had everything

Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by several issues. Nighttime noise was excessive, particularly when upstairs guests arrived around 12:30 a.m. Additionally, there was a noticeable gap around the door that allowed cold air and marijuana odors to enter the room, which was especially concerning as we were traveling with a sleeping infant. The beds were also oversized for the bed frames, making them unstable and uncomfortable. Overall, these factors made it difficult to rest comfortably.

Attempted to check in early which i was told was possible. Was told that noone was checking out and that noone was leaving so they didnt know if a room would even be ready. We transferred hotels and went to the sure stay best western plaza inn.

On one hand, this is an old motel and, by today's standards, it seemed pretty spartan. On the other hand, it's been renovated at some point but, most significant to us, the property's housekeeping staff had the room in a perfectly clean condition. Even the clear (as in "not frosted") all-glass show enclosure was completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) spot free! We didn't use the kitchenette on our one-night stay, but two burners, a microwave and a decent-sized refrigerator are great, that's what you're looking for. Breakfast is served until 9:30 and it was a little past 9 when we got to the serving area. The biscuits needed refilled, barely a serving of eggs remained, and there was no place left to sit...so we left. One more thing: the woman that handled our check-in was friendly and very helpful!

Not super clean, not as nice as the pics. Front door half broke, bathroom door broke..(locked me in) floor above creaking BAD whith the people walking on it and every morning about 6am the trash guy would get ALL the dumpsters from the other hotels and restaurants near buy ( about 10) and just beat the sh1t out of them. So for about 30 to 45 mins of the hulk kicking and smashing dumpsters around..(Not an exageration) Staff was nice...Didnt feel unsafe...never tried the breakfast...

Great value! This is a relatively small property that may deceive you when you turn into the lot, as maybe not being what you expected; but don't fret! It's unfussy on the outside but the room, bathroom and amenities more than make up for parking lot impressions. Your room and bathroom will be cool, modernized and clean with maybe a few aesthetic blemishes that affect nothing about your stay. We had a desk which was a great feature because I had to work remotely for a short time one morning. Plenty of USB ports for charging devices. Reliable TV and Wifi. Staff all friendly and responsive. The breakfast is AWESOME and we really appreciated it and the staff's upkeep of it. You can grab coffee or tea in the lobby anytime of the day or night. Housekeeping will come every other day of your stay unless you request otherwise. We stayed an extra night and the new check-in for the same room was effortless. The proximity to the Parkway/main strip is an easy, close walk and Shoney's restaurant is right at the corner. Your parking spot is right outside your door for easy loading/unloading. Ice machine on property. Attraction brochures and maps plentiful by the front desk. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
