Apart from an initial couple of hiccups, we had a lovely stay in a well thought out apartment

The apartment was spacious, quiet and had excellent facilities. Well stocked kitchen and really comfy bed.

It took my partner half an hour to find the apartment and get the keys. The directions were not great for an British person un used to finding a place in an apartment complex! There was no handbook for the appliances and the cooker would not work. An extra switch needed to be switched on, Anne came over but she was half an hour away. She knew what the fault was and fixed straight away - thank you

Séjour agréable à Orléans

Le calme et le confort. La place de parking intérieure. Attention place non adaptée pour une grande voiiture ; notre C4 Picasso passait tout juste.

Nous avons seulement pris nos petits déjeuners dans l'appartement. Une planche à pain et un couteau à pain seraient des petits plus appréciables.

Mini carrefour et tram proches. Environnement arboré et calme

Un bémol pour l'accès au logement lorsqu'on arrive pour la première fois en voiture. En effet, le logement est au rez-de-chaussée mais il faut monter une vingtaine de marches pour y arriver et récupérer le badge qui permettra de redescendre au niveau des garages. Heureusement, notre hôtesse nous a bien renseignés pour s'y retrouver.

Zwischenstopp von der Bretagne zurück nach Deutschland

Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss eines großen Wohnkomplexes. Die Beschreibung, die man am Tag der Anreise erhält, erklärt den Zugang über den Türcode und die Tiefgarage genau und alles macht seinen Sinn. Die Tiefgarage ist auf der Seite der Gebäude, die der Loire zugewandt sind und die Wohnung betritt man das erste Mal über den Platz in der Mitte zwischen den Häusern des Wohnkomplexes. Wird aber von der netten Gastgeberin Anne erklärt. Die Loire ist 50 m entfernt und auf der anderen Seite des Wohnkomplexes fährt eine Straßenbahn in die Innenstadt (4 Stationen). Orleans ist um die Kathedrale und den Platz der Jeanne d'Arc dann sehr schön. Geheimtipp Jardin de Hotel Groslot, wenn man eh in Richtung Kathedrale geht. In den Straßen um die Innenstadt herum oder abends an der Loire entlang ist es dann mit Kindern schon etwas mulmiger, aber noch ok. Die Wohnung hat eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner und ausreichend Elektroheizungen. Die Küche und das Bad sind sauber. Carrefour auf der Seite der Straßenbahn. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin läuft über die booking Nachrichten. Wir haben die von Orleans westlichen bekannten Loireschlösser früher schon einmal gesehen und waren jetzt in Sully Sur Loire im Südosten. Schönes Wasserschloss, das man auch mit Kindern gut anschauen kann. Auf dem Weg von der Bretagne nach Deutschland waren wir vorher im Rennwagenmuseum in Le Mans.

Das Wlan hat nicht funktioniert. Wir hatten aber genug privates Datenvolumen.

Un petit séjour au calme

Petit studio très cosy, au sein d' une résidence calme, au RDC, dans un immeuble sécurisé. Très confortable et spacieux pour un couple (sans enfants), pourvu de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner ( un supermarché bien achalandé est accessible à pieds en 5 mn).La literie est de très bonne qualité, l' appartement est très propre. La voiture (parking souterrain et sécurisé) n' est pas indispensable pour visiter la ville, car un tramway passe à proximité. Nous n' avons malheureusement pu rencontrer la propriétaire, mais ses indications étaient précises pur récupérer les clés, et les laisser à la fin de notre séjour, en toute autonomie. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
