Black mold and ants - check before next booking

I won't describe positive things, they are more or less the same as you can find in the description of the apartments and the other reviews.

We faced two negative things that require immediate fixing by the landlord: 1) black mold, it's in all the rooms on the ceiling - the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, see the attached photos 2) ants, tens of ants - in the kitchen and the bathroom that appear once you start using the kitchen or taking a shower, it's disgusting! You can see the photo of the bathroom (zoom it in) after we killed them all, they went on and on coming up. We were absolutely dissapointed, I sent a message on that to the landlord, but since the landlord didn't even say a simple sorry, I'm publishing this negative report. So I highly recommend checking with the landlord first before booking this place if these two issues are fixed or not.

Good, could be better

New furniture, well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, good bed, the extensible sofa was great, nice balcony with table and chairs, free parking just behind the building,, very helpful owner, we communicated through Booking.com messages

I think the apartment had not been rented for a while, there was a stale smell when we entered and the floor in the bathroom was dusty, the clothes dropped on the floor had whitish dust on them. We showered in lukewarm water, never got warmer. We were 3 persons and only received 2 large bath towels, the wi-fi was extremely weak

Near to the river. We walked into Orleans which took half an hour. There was a tram stop nearby which we could have used. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Parking behind building.

Exterior and hallways of the building were shabby, not that inviting, but appartment was newly renovated. Car Park not well maintained. We arrived on a Sunday, not much was open locally so we could not buy milk etc. Local shops and supermarket did not open until 8.30 on the Monday so breakfast was difficult

the studio is ok, the bed is quite comfortable

the studio itself is but it's far from being "ravissant". It's situated in a smelly building on the city outskirts thus no photos of the outside. We got only 2 big towels, with no hand towel or anything smaller for hair. there are notes with cleaning rules in kitchen and toilet with a threat of additional invoice if you don't clean after yourself, while the sponge was disgustingly old and no place to drain the dishes.

It was good to have privacy. The television could be changed into English for the programmes that had been dubbed. The parking was good and the location was very good.

It was too difficult to get the Internet as we were unable to decipher the code, and the water wouldn't stay in the sink. A small bowl would have been useful for the dishes.

The apartment is in a shabby looking apartment building in a similar looking neighborhood. The apartment is cheaply renovated inside. The kitchen has an odd smell, the fridge buzzes, the bed is not very comfortable. There is only one opening window, so it is too hot in the summer even at night. I would look more favorably at these short-comings if the price had been appropriate but at 100 eur/night in Orleans it is not worth it.

Newly renovated apartment

Just one towel available for each person, host totally unavailable after our request and bugs in the house with no repellents/killers at hand. Should also mention that doors in the shower don't close and the apartment is in a crumbling building.

Licht und Schatten

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort. Es gibt in der direkten Umgebung viele Parkplätze. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei und waren von der Wohnung aus ganz flott an der Loire vorbei in der Innenstadt. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat mittels eines Codes problemlos funktioniert. Etwas schwieriger war es aber erstmal das Haus zu finden. Die Wohnung war für eine Nacht in Ordnung, der Preis dafür auch sehr moderat. Sehr ruhige Lage!

Der Häuserblock und die direkte Umgebung machen einen etwas heruntergekommenen, ungepflegten Eindruck. Im Haus ist es aber in Ordnung und die Wohnung überrascht dann angenehm. Das Appartement machte, bis auf Kleinigkeiten, einen sauberen Eindruck. Was uns absolut abgestoßen hat, waren der fleckige Bezug des Sofas und der unangenehme Geruch des Bettes, obwohl es sauber bezogen war. Für eine Übernachtung war es ok, länger möchten wir dort nicht sein.

De mooie inrichting. Het supergoede bed!! Keukentje met alles erin. Dichtbij de stad en de mooie Loire. Rustig gelegen. Goed systeem voor incheck.

De vuile parking waar je vanuit de studio op keek. De douche is niet echt proper, zo jammer want de studio is echt top verder.

C'est bien pour un court séjour.

Studio spacieux, très bien équipé et lumineux. Le calme pas loin de la ville (piste cyclable proche). On n'est toutefois pas au bord de la Loire puisque les autres immeubles cachent la vue. Bonne communication avec l'hôte par message.

L'immeuble est vieillissant et le parking non fermé et mal entretenu. Le matelas nécessite un bon nettoyage.

Tolle Wohnung. Super Lage. Gut zum Parken. 30 m nebenan die Tram um ins Zentrum zu fahren. Perfekt. Check in, Check out problemlos mit Schlüsselsafe. Gerne wieder.

Es war als Zwischenstation für eine Nacht in Ordnung.

Die Wohnung war gut, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung war ziemlich modern und funktional. Es gab einen Lift zu der Wohnung im dritten Stock. Die Schlüsselübergabe über den Briefkasten mit zwei Codes war per Email klar und unmissverständlich beschrieben und funktionierte reibungslos.

Die Lage ist eher etwas trist. Der Privatparkplatz Nr. 35 hinter dem Haus ist nicht nutzbar, da seitlich zu eng (man kann bei Nutzung nicht ein- und aussteigen). Es gibt aber unmittelbar vor dem Eingang auch ausreichend öffentliche Parkplätze. Es sollte laut Beschreibung Kaffee in der Küche vorhanden sein, das war nicht der Fall.

Logement rénové simplement, la facilité pour récupérer les clés, la literie, la communication avec l'hôte, proprété de logement. Le parking est un plus.

Je comprend que l'hôte doit être respecteux du logement mais de là, à demander à rendre l'appartement aussi propre qu'il l'a trouvé, c'est trop. Je ne souhaite pas faire le ménage lorsque je prend des logements sur Booking, ni à descendre mes poubelles, surtout lorsque je suis en déplacement juste pour 2 nuits. L'insonorité est à revoir. Immeuble et quartier de type "cité"

Schoon, duidelijke omschrijving betreft binnenkomen, makkelijk bereikbaar

Jammer dat de privé parkeerplek niet vrij was. Als je op doorreis bent is het fijn om je auto te kunnen zien vanaf het appartement omdat hij volgeladen is. Uiteindelijk brutaal op iemand anders z’n plek gaan staan. Had deze plek hier namelijk speciaal voor uitgekozen.

Informations très précises du loueur, appartement très propre même si quelques problèmes d'humidité sont présents dans la salle de bain mais c'était aéré en arrivant avec une petite odeur de musque ! Beaucoup de petites notes de propreté ce qui est réconfortant et il y a de l'électro ménager sur place.

Dommage qu'un des voisins se gare sur deux places (qui comprend celle qui est normalement définie pour les locataires) mais il y a un parking invité pour pallier à ça ! Moins sécurisé certes mais existant.
