Great 2 night stay - close to the seafront and Lyme brewery :-)

Welcome pack was well stocked and very nice. Guy, the host, was very welcoming and provided lots of info by text. The location is great - very close to the sea front, with a deck overlooking the sea which was wonderful. Parking in Lyme is a challenge so having a dedicated space nearby was very useful.

It was all good. Can't really fault anything.

A lovely cosy and comfy flat - perfect for a night away!

Apologies for not getting back to you earlier! The bed was extremely comfortable;the breakfast was lovely and healthy, and if we had being staying longer, we would've taken advantage of the eggs etc, but just had toast; the location was brilliant; loved the cosy feeling of the place, and loved the view from the end of the garden, If it wasn't raining, we would've gone in the little glass house on the cliff edge, I'm sure.

Nothing we didn't like - only suggestions for improvement - the bathroom sink tap was v loose so needs to be tightened and the shower door was difficult to open and close - maybe just old and needs replacing, or new fixtures put in place to make it move smoothly. None of this affected our stay.

A fine gem!!!⁸

We loved everything about this little gem of a place, good value for money, ideal location, and even a breakfast hamper, which was greatly appreciated. The added bonus were the fireworks that we watched from the garden deck. The views are amazing. Would highly recommend and Guy the host was to hand if needed.

Lyme is lovely and this was a brilliant base to enjoy it from.

Wonderful location, and the property is more spacious than the pictures make it look. The view from the balcony is sublime. The provided breakfast was more than adequate. The owner's two cats are lovely and we were delighted to meet them (but if you don't like cats they can be fairly easily avoided). Host was generous and welcoming.

Would have appreciated just a little more sense of privacy and separation from the host's adjoining house. He was nothing but friendly and welcoming but it did just feel a little too close at times. The shower was a bit too hot.

We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Cottage. The host was very helpful and provided clear, detailed instructions about the property, parking, and local recommendations, which made everything so easy. The view from the platform is absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable – it was the highlight of our stay. The thoughtful breakfast products left for us were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The veiw was breathtaking

Stunning view, ideal location, lovely clean little apartment, sweet basket of breakfast goodies, cosy bed. Also came with a parking space but not out side the apartment. Right by the fossil beach, easy walk into the town. Will be back for sure.

Great stay at Lyme Clifftop Hideaway.

We loved our one night stay at Lyme Clifftop Hideaway. The host provided an amazing supply of breakfast staples for our visit which was much appreciated. The location is great - a short walk into town or to access the boardwalk along the beach. Even though it is located on the main road, it was very quiet - we heard nothing. There are lots of windows so it is very bright with views into the garden and garden path. The views from the terrace/patio are spectacular. We only wish the weather cooperated for us to enjoy it for our one evening there. The space is very well appointed with everything we needed.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway , it was a excellent location for us just a short walk to main town & beach ,clean and comfortable & quiet with the host guy very friendly and knowledgeable car parking space was a bonus too All good thank you 😊

Great place to stay with amazing views and central location.

The view was amazing. The accommodation was small but well equipped. Great shower! The location was perfect for walking into Lyme Regis in the evening for food. The Lyme Bay and the Town Mill Bakery were our favourites.

Lyme Clifftop Hideaway...just amazing

Incredible location close to the town centre with parking sorted by the owner. Great facilities and just the most amazing view across the sea from your own private terrace. Lovely welcome basket for our first day and Guy is a fabulous host. Streaky and Smoky Bacon (cats) were an utter joy as was Guys guitar playing. This was our first time and we'll be back next year xx

Very comfortable apartment in lovely coastal town.

Great location within easy walking distance to town and promenade. Guy was a very friendly and helpful host, and also provided an excellent continental breakfast. Apartment was sunny and warm with a seating area overlooking the coast.

Perfect Hideaway with Stunning Views

Fantastic location and close to the centre of town . I was lucky with the weather so could make use of decking area overlooking the sea . Owners provide a food hamper for the first day ..which was a nice touch as ..who wants walk up to the shops after a long journey .

Not a criticism but the front door does open out onto a main road ..so be aware of that.

A lovely stay in a cute cottage.

It had lots of character & was in a great location with a short walk to everything in town. There was a terrace at the back with an amazing view & a great place to sit. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the kitchen was handy. The portable induction cooktop worked well. The parking was worth the extra money. Guy was friendly & helpful.

Lovely stay in a hideout with character, great location and a view

The Hideaway was lovely and the views from the terrace was fabulous. The breakfast hamper is a lovely thought for your first morning breakfast together with teas, coffee and juice. The hideaway is light and airy and has a very comfortable bed, and Guy the host is very helpful and welcoming.

Sea view

It was central to lyme regis ,you only had to walk down the road.Not far from charmouth.views from the garden was beautiful.And you could park the car not far from where you were staying.We also managed to see 4 of the planets with the naked eye.

A very enjoyable experience celebrating my birthday.

Warm host welcome, and a welcome pack, for essentials and breakfast. No need to shop on day of arrival. The property was ideal for a couple, cosy, comfortable and warm, which was good as it was a very cold February couple of days. Sea views from the garden deck area were stunning. Private parking a very short walk away was very convenient, well priced compared to public parking. Another very short walk to Lyme hight street, a good selection of resataurants, pubs and the beach. I would definately recommend to family, friends and anyone else who showed interest.

Great little "hideaway" with stunning view at the end of the garden.

This is very compact little "hideaway" which has a spectacular sitting area at the end of the garden path. The view is absolutely stunning. The accommodation is fine but small (e.g., it is hard walking around the end of the bed to get to the bathroom). Supplies for breakfast are provided and they are excellent.

Parking is provided (for £10) at the front of someone's house, about 100 yards away. This works well but what was missing were instructions how to get from the parking space to the "hideway". This was frustrating as it wasn't clear where Church Street was located.

Joint 1st favourite accomodation we've stayed at.

Frankly we liked everything. Provisions for breakfast were excellent and generous. It's a well laid out, stylish space with character and a little quirkiness. Well equipped with glasses, crockery, utensils, towels, soap, etc. Spotlessly clean too. THE DECK IS AWESOME. On the clifftop, looking out to sea, beautiful!

Sehr gute, deutliche und freundliche Einweisung durch den Gastgeber über E-Mail vor der Ankunft zu Halte- und Parkmöglichkeiten des Autos sowie Schlüsselcode. Direkt vor dem Haus kann man nicht mit dem Auto halten, aber etwa 20 m entfernt zum Entladen. Der Parkplatz für 10 Pfund/Nacht befindet sich ca. 500 m entfernt, was wir gerne genutzt haben. Die Ferienwohnung ist das Hinterhaus des Besitzerhauses, welches an der Hauptstraße liegt. Vom Hausflur gelangt man in die Küche, die auch der Aufenthaltsraum ist, von dort in das Schlafzimmer und von dort in das Bad. Der Besitzer hatte frisches Brot, Eier, Milch, Obst und weitere Speisen zur Begrüßung bereitgestellt. Vielen Dank! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, es wurde gut geheizt und war sehr sauber. Die Fenster von allen Zimmern blicken auf den Hinterhof/Gang, der ausschließlich vom Besitzer, seinen Katzen und den Gästen der Ferienwohnung genutzt wird. Auf dem Hinterhof und der zugehörigen Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer konnte man bei Sonne sitzen und die Vögel zwitschern hören - sehr sehr schön! Man muss sich darüber bewusst sein, dass die Wohnung wirklich sehr klein ist und auch nicht viele Ablagemöglichkeiten hat. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt bzw. am Strand.
