Marvellous location and spotlessly clean apartment
Unfortunately due to the lack of sound proofing, all sounds could be heard from neighbouring flats. This was not because the neighbours were noisy but because we could hear everyday sounds

A very uncomfortable,frustrating time in Lyme Regis.
No parking,lots of stairs to climb, very expensive parking in town, tv did not operate easily nor did stove top, very uncomfortable bed, entirely unsuitable for older people as access is poor, very steep entry to township.

Lovely stay, great location
The property was absolutely perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was big enough for 2 adults. It was certainly located for everything we needed and was only a couple of minutes from the beach. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lovely stay :)
Only downside was the bed sheet provided for the sofa bed was too small.

Upsides Convenient in the centre of Lyme yet quiet,
Attractively presented and clean.
Host easily contacted in the Rainbow shop and on leaving day was willing to store our cases

Great location - Not so great hosts
The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and our beach hut. It was really handy having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. The lady in the shop (with the northern accent) was an absolute gem, so kind and warm every time we spoke. She was especially lovely to my daughter, and when we were unexpectedly asked to leave, she gave me a big hug, knowing I was in shock. She truly made a difficult moment feel a bit lighter and brought a bit of humanity to the situation.
Having Fibromyalgia and travelling with my youngest child (11), I found parts of our stay quite stressful, particularly the parking. The nearest car park was £38/day, so we only used it to unload. The area was extremely busy with narrow walkways and heavy traffic. We waited inside the shop for the manager, then carried luggage up external metal stairs and again up internal ones. I moved the car to a cheaper car park up a steep hill, then struggled to bring the rest of our luggage down with a trolley. Parking was £9.10/day, and accessing the car or visiting family in Charmouth meant constant uphill walks on tight roads.
Despite contacting the owner multiple times before arrival (email, booking.com messages, phone texts not accepted), I received no response. Booking.com had to step in when I tried to extend our stay by one night (Saturday to Saturday), but the owner quoted double for the extra night, so we didn’t.
I’d mistakenly booked Saturday to Friday thinking it included Friday night, so we were surprised when the cleaner arrived mid-brunch. That error was mine, but the owner’s cold tone didn’t help. We weren’t even allowed to collect food left in the fridge she just said, “someone else is in there now” and shrugged.
The property wasn’t properly cleaned surfaces had been skimmed, not deep cleaned. Bedding didn’t fit properly, which made sleeping uncomfortable. It’s also not quiet, lots of traffic and motorbike noise but you get used to it. No instructions for bins, and the rubbish boxes at the top of the stairs were already full when we arrived. Also the sofa covers could have done with a wash, we used our own throws to sit on as it was dirty.

Ideal, spacious apartment in a great location.
The location is just across the road from beachfront pubs and very close to the seafront and shops. Tesco Express is just up the road. The apartment is spacious.
Dropping off and picking up luggage before proceeding to a long term park park (£45 for 4 days) is a bit of a juggle. It was a bit noisy from the road, but that is the trade off from such a great location.

Perfect holiday apartment
Apartment was very comfortable and perfectly clean. It's ideal choice for family holidays since it's located right in the center of Lyme Regis, 1 minute walk from the beach. It's easily the best place I stayed in years.

Lovely flat, great location, but management, maintenance and cleaning needs a big review

No cleaning products in either kitchen or bathroom apart from washing up liquid
Only enough washing pods for 1 wash, even though we were there 5 nights

No terrestrial tv
No local tv
Air freshener empty.
Nowhere to put food in the kitchen as all the cupboards had utensils in so had to put it on the worksurface
Lamp in lounge not working
No instructions for the cooker, hob, shower or tv
instruction manual out of date
No teabags
A box fort a fan but no fan
Sofa bed uncomfortable and sheets didn't fit it properly
Crack in lino in kitchen which could be a trip hazard
Only 2 toilet rolls for a five night stay
I contacted the host to ask beforehand if I needed to bring any washing liquid, detergents, cleaning products, toilet rolls or teabags and was told I didn't there would be plenty there. There wasn't.
It is a lovely flat but whoever is managing it and doing the changeover is not doing their job properly. I am aware there are staff shortages. IT is not an excuse though when it is classed as Luxury and charging luxury prices. The bathroom door should shut. Lamps should be checked and work. It should be clean, you should be able to use the freezer. You should be able to use the hob without having to search Google for instructions. it is sloppy and lazy, and will give property in Lyme a bad name.

A great apartment in the middle of Lyme Regis
The apartment was very well located right in the centre of the town. It was very spacious and the facilities were very new. The bathroom was huge and had full laundry facilities which was very useful.
Some of the glassware and cutlery wasn't very clean and had to be washed before we could use it. The bed was too firm for us. It can be quite noisy at night especially with the windows open with passing traffic and pedestrians.

There are a lot of steps to get to the property. It's a nightmare unloading suitcases from the car as there's knowhere to pull in. We also used the sofa bed... once pulled out, we discovered loads of dirt and litter behind it!

Very clean and well presented , obviously newly renovated so much so we felt like the first people to stay there. The photos don’t actually do the property justice, wonderfully spacious and perfectly located for a winter visit to Lyme Regis.
The tv had no working terrestrial channels and the smart tv apps required your own login details, perhaps not an issue in summer but not ideal in winter when it’s cold, wet and windy and it goes dark very early so cosy nights in in front of the tv were high on the agenda.

Nothing! Choosing a location in the centre of the town in proximity of all amenities including the beach, meant that we were already prepared for traffic & pedestrian noise. We were not seeking a peaceful retreat as we already live in a remote, rural environment. The hustle & bustle of daily life in Lyme Regis was part of the experience for us & we absolutely loved it!

The location was good - (although Lyme Regis very small so anywhere in the centre would be good), the facilities good although we didn't cook. Very modern safe apartment. Well located. It is on the high street so was nosiy in the mornings (early) traffic and shops deliveries etc - that was the only downside. We did ask a question of the hosts in advance of us going and they only came back 2 days after we had arrived so that could have been quicker.

It was a little hard to find initially and the email with the door codes didn’t arrive/ got lost in spam. The booking confirmation email said that there was no WiFi but actually the apartment had a very good broadband connection.
