A really comfortable location with a large bedroom, well supplied kitchen and an easy to enjoy living room. It was easy to get downhill to the waterfront area for some fossil hunting and other sightseeing in Lyme Regis.

Quiet and welcoming space with parking just 19 minutes from town!

We’ve stayed at Coverdale before and it’s a place to return to. Very homely, warm and welcoming. Especially as it was so cold this week, we felt very snug. There is a lovely little courtyard for those warmer moths too. The added bonus is having parking right outside, then there is a lovely 10 minute walk along the river into town. The bed and pillows are comfy and it’s very quiet at night so a good sleep is guaranteed The surroundings are tasteful and everything is there if you want to cook, so well equipped kitchen and a cosy living room to relax in. Great shower and bathroom. The hosts are very communicative, nothing is too much trouble. I 100% recommended Coverdale and can’t wait to return.

Cosy winter stay in a perfect seaside town!

Third stay at Coverdale and already booked for next year! Coverdale is the perfect location, lovely stream side stroll into Lyme takes about 10-15 minutes. Parking right outside, Coverdale is a super cosy flat, comfortable bed and all the utilities you’d need. They now also have Jurassic Park on DVD, perfect for watching pre or post fossil hunt!

Comfortable, cosy, modern and in a good location.

Beautiful apartment with a private back garden seating area. Comfortable and cosy environment yet spacious and modern. We both enjoyed the little touches like the artwork and captions alongside them. You can tell the property is loved and well cared for by the owners and guests. After a few days it felt like a second home.

Difficult to find fault really. People booking beforehand should be aware there is a steep walk down to the beach and a climb back up.

Well equipped apartment. Hosts provided milk, toiletries, tea, coffee etc which was a nice touch. Location is quiet residential, with a nice riverside walk back into town. Property was well looked after on the whole, but there were some minor repairs needed (slight damp, broken extractor, slow shower drain). Once these are sorted I'd rate excellent.

A stunning flat with a large kitchen/diner and big bright bedroom. A few minutes walk from the centre of Lyme Regis. Lovely owners and well appointed kitchen.

The mattress is hard, so took some getting used to, but that’s just a personal preference.

Spacious clean and comfortable. Parking at the front. 7 minutes walk to Broad street and the town centre

Only one thing … no WiFi. Problem solved as area has 4G so could hotspot enough to power a firestick Owners have supplied a DVD player and good selection of DVD’s if needed. Also plenty of games

Cosy, well appointed homely flat

Loved the cosy decor and space. The bedroom and lounge were really comfy, and the kitchen dining area was lovely. Loved that a parking space was included. We felt really at home here

No WiFi! Hosts say they don't advertise as having it, but in this day and age, it should be standard. Also, the bedroom smelt a little musty, which was a shame, but didn't ruin our stay.

Was really impressed with the property had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location for us to go exploring the area with many leaflets and information of the area to hand. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back

No one will find fault with this accommodation

There was nothing to complain about at all. shame didn't stay longer because the flat was very cosy, relaxing and superbly accommodated all needs. Would have been nice to stay and relax longer. Travelled by train to the area from London, and caught a bus outside the station. Dropped us off all most to the front door. Don't really need the car as access to all routes very easy, but was told that during the summer months, gets really busy and queues can be very long. Lyme Regis is hilly! Some steep walking is needed to get anywhere, and to and from the flat to the town/village and the beach requires some stamina, especially if you have visited the local pubs with their excellent choice of beers! I wouldn't rush back to Lyme Regis, but would love to stay in the flat, as it was absolutely perfect; no one should be disappointed if they stayed; one of the best places I have stayed.

Mixed thoughts!

Hi, I thought the flat was well presented and the kitchen was really functional. There are lots of little problems that should be put right though as I've outlined below. I note that I won't be the first to raise some of them as per the guest book.

- the extractor fan wasn't working in the bathroom resulting in black mould and damp over the course of the week. Added to this there appeared to be a leak from the guttering outside the bathroom window adding to the damp situation which should be looked at - plugs in bathroom sink and shower very slow to drain despite me trying to clean them - musty/damp smell from rugs/curtains (I think) in bedroom and lounge, maybe due to damp - loose tap in kitchen - dishwasher wasn't unloaded on arrival! - aerial not fit for purpose on TV despite retuning several times, loads of missing channels, including kids - no Internet, owners should look at this, Internet is a necessity not a luxury nowadays - parking space, lack of drop kerb and no space between space and wall on right hand side. If Coverdale wants to advertise a parking space they should ask for a drop kerb here. I worry about the damage done to my car during the week

Apartment had everything you would want, very well equipped. Plenty of wardrobe space. On site parking

Parking was awkward, up a slope and over a high pavement. Shower unit small & hard to manoeuvre in. Didn't like real plants in the bedroom and too many diffusers and air fresheners everywhere, which if you are asthmatic affects your chest. Didn't have any courtesy call or contact from owners which we thought was unusual.

Lovely apartment in great location

Very well equipped and stylish decor. Great having a private outside area to sit and one of the few properties we have stayed in that actually had a dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space! Fairly easy access to town, along a charming river side walk. Great selection of books, including ones about the local area and history. Also good selection of novels and dvd's. Milk and biscuits left for guests is a nice touch. 👌😊.

A matress topper would have made the bed more comfortable. Kettle needed descaling and freezer needed defrosting but very minor points that didn't detract from what is a lovely apartment. Parking was difficult though as whole curb needs to be dropped and only enough room for 3 cars really.

Nice and cosy, very well located. In the flat everything was working well and there were lots of tourist brochures. The host sent all information needed in time and always replied within one day to our emails before the stay.
