Overall a gorgeous, comfortable, clean cottage in a great location from which to explore Lyme Regis and the surrounding countryside and towns (make sure you visit the Symondsbury Estate for a cuppa and cake at the cafe, and wander along the famous, sunken Shute’s Lane!).
A big thank you to the owner for his excellent communication, and also to Pat who helped us with the keys and nearby parking.
We couldn’t get the WiFi to work. It was a little tricky as I had two teenagers with me - but we had a lovely time regardless!
I’d say that it might not be ideal if you are seeking 100% solitude, as there were ‘neighbours’ sharing the garden, coming and going etc. (They were very nice people and it was fun getting to know them.)

We rang pat on arrival in Lyme Regis and collected the keys from her. Once we'd unloaded our car we were able to park our car outside her house which proved to be a brilliant solution as parking is a nightmare.
It was an easy walk, alongside the river, down to the town centre.
We were incredibly lucky with the weather, with sunshine every day meaning Lyme was at it's best.

Location is great for accessing the town and beach. Very pretty spot with a lovely shared garden. Fully enclosed for pets/children.
Bathroom might be cold in winter as not double glazed. No on-site parking.
