The room is spacious and location excellent. The neighbourhood is quite. There is a laundry shop close by so very convenient.

There are 3 flights of stairs which made it difficult to get up and down.

Charming accomodation with all we needed

lovely room and large bathroom, very comfortable. La Senne also has a lovely coffee shop at the bottom where we had breakfast reasonably priced and convenient. very special way of serving hot chocolate with belgian chocolate chips!! Charlotte the host is lovely, friendly and made us feel welcome in Brussels which we did not know much about. Thank you Charlotte, we enjoyed our stay very much.

A lovely overnight stay in this little place. Nice to be able to leave luggage before checking in and it felt very safe.

The bed was comfy and it was a short 10 minute walk into the historic center.

Beautiful and spacious room. Really welcoming host. Helpful booklet of great bar and restaurant recommendations provided in the room. Property is walkable from Midi Train Station and the main sights of Brussels. Cafe downstairs nice for breakfast/brunch.

Enjoyable stay

Comfortable bedroom. It was good to have a fan to use during the evening as weather was hot. Spacious bathroom. Coffee and biscuits a nice touch. Cafe for breakfast immediately below the property was very good for breakfast. Lots of varied guide books available to use during our stay.

It was a lovely room with fabulous bathroom and comfy bed within walking distance of the old town and many attractions.

I probably didn’t read the bit about the narrow staircase to get our bags up, but apart from that it was great.

Fabulous room, spacious and clean, with beautiful large windows and nice bathroom. The cafe downstairs was wonderful and the staff was super nice. Being able to leave our luggage at the property after checking out allowed us to explore the city some before leaving, it was very nice.

Walking along Bd du Midi to La Senne from the train station at night was a little sketchy and it was a bit tricky finding it. The stairs were a little rough with big luggage but what a reward when walking in to the lovely room!

Share in the delights of living locally

The room had a very much at home feel to it worth the stair climb! It was spacious quiet and super comfortable. Breakfast was not provided but was available at the downstairs cafe. Convenient but more expensive than other cafes within a 5 minute walk.

Not a dislike just a suggestion. A stand alone make up mirror in the bathroom and a slip mat in the shower would be a welcome addition.

Amazing accomodation not far from city centre

Absolutely beautiful room. Cozy and well equipped. Location in walk distance from city centre, but still on quite quiet place. Cafe downstairs is great for breakfast or snack .

I recommend to come to central station, not south one, way from south train station to the B&B it unpleasant. Maybe sending a hint about that (with self check in) could be helpful.

Lovely guesthouse in a great city

Our room was lovely, clean and spacious and there were plenty of nice toiletries. Charlotte, the owner was really helpful and quickly sorted out an issue we had when we arrived to find someone had mistakenly taken our room. The cafe downstairs was also really good and the staff there were brilliant. It was generally really quiet even though it was only a very short walk into the city centre. It was nice to have some recommendations for where to eat and drink in the room too.

Although the room was quite big there was very little storage space. If you're only staying a night or two or would probably be okay but for now than that it would be good to have space for clothes.

Nice location, no A/C

I loved the location of the property and the modern decoration

The room was not ready at check-in time (3pm) Luckily, I was able to drop off my luggage before and leave it in the hallway. I was contacted apologetically by the property owner and they let me know the room would be ready around 5:30. There is no air conditioning and I visited during the European heat wave. Not even opening the windows helped

An excellent stay in Brussels

The room was charming,clean.and equipped with a fan. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was easy to use. The café around the corner is available to the guests at the hotel was very nice and the food as well as the coffee were delicious. Charlotte, the owner of the hotel, was so warm,welcoming and helpful. She left a book of suggestions regarding food,sights to see, restaurants, and interesting things to do in Brussels. On our floor,she left a jar of Speculoos cookies,tea, and coffee. I highly recommend anyone to stay at La Senne. Our trip to Brussels was extra special thanks to Charlotte.

Amazing place, I want to come back already!

Amazing spacious room, 3 windows, lots of natural light! We were able to enter a bit earlier (a very nice cleaning lady told us just to wait 30 minutes), and on the day of checkout, Charlotte (the owner) made us an incredible gift, just offering the room until late evening! We had a late flight (22:15), and I was still recovering from a surgery, so an option to come to the room at any moment and just lay in bed or take a shower was incredibly valuable! We spent an amazing weekend in Brussels and will be back!

As several people mentioned, the aromatizer in the bathroom is very strong (every time someone opens the bathroom door, the whole room smells). Did not bother us too much but can be bad for someone's allergy or asthma.

Beautiful and cosy.

It was beautiful and cosy. It looked exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was very clean and the room smelt amazing. The host was super nice and made me feel so welcome. The stay was well thought out because there was even a book with suggestions of where to eat, where to tour etc.

There wasn’t much to not like but it was a long way up to get to the room with heavy bags but I tell you that the rooms are worth it.

Perfect for a couple of days in town

The room is beautiful and just about the right size with a very nice bathroom. Location is perfect. Once in the city, we were able to walk everywhere and didn't have to rely on transport at all. The house-owned coffee shop downstairs is lovely too and can be your breakfast option (but it's not included).

Can't think of anything, it was exactly what we had in mind.

Clean, cosy, quality items, smelled great, warm, good bed+pillows+duvet, good communication with host, close to public transport, great coffee.

We thought the neighborhood was bad, but it turns out all of Brussels looks shady and the neighborhood is fine. We did not feel comfortable being out at night (arrived back at 10).

A home away from home

The property is exactly like the photos and every little detail makes you feel at home from the welcome message on the bedroom wall to the tea corner in three hallway. It’s clean and only a 10-minute walk to the center or a 20-minute walk to the train station. Charlotte was very receptive each time I contacted her. She speaks perfect English if you don’t speak french. During August it can be really hot and unfortunately Belgium doesn’t have a lot of air conditioning. In order to keep the room cool it’s best to open the window and use the fan. This is not a negative quality, just a fact.

Spotlessly clean. Beautiful property as was built in 1850 and renovated in 2022 to a very high standard . Only 20 mins max to grand place and Eurostar station ( midi)so nicely situated

To call it a B&B is a bit of a misnomer, as there is no breakfast ! A very nice B nevertheless. A very nice cafe was only a 15 min walk away . Coffee making facilities are available at the property No TV .

We loved our stay at Cécilia's, the rooms are big and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent and it is very central, just 10 minutes walk from the main square and 15 minutes from the train station. Le Senne was the perfect accommodation for a city trip, located in a peaceful area and within walking distance of all the famous sites. Our room was clean and comfortable with a classic, chic interior. We will definitely be back! 😊

Avendo soggiornato per capodanno la camera era davvero molto calda, un punto a grandissimo favore visto che fuori si gelava! Situato in una zona tranquillissima, ad una piacevole passeggiata dal centro senza bisogno dei mezzi. Self check-in rapido e senza problemi. Struttura con tutto l’occorrente, e curata nei minimi dettagli. Se dovessi tornare a Bruxelles sicuramente ci tornerei
