20min walk to tourist spots. Quiet area of the city. Thought the concept of Catalina’s room was cool, overlooks courtyard garden. Very spacious room, bed and bedding comfortable. Clean room. Amenities provided include towels and soap only. Contactless check in was easy, no issues entering building and obtaining room key. As a solo female I felt safe, did not come into contact with any other residents. Breakfast supplied though i was not there at the right times to try it myself.

Not an issue as it is all advertised but best be aware there are stairs and no lift, no television, no fridge or eating in the room. Catalina’s room is open plan (can see into the bathroom/no door) therefore might not be suited for families or couples not yet comfortable with each other. No issue for an individual. Opening the windows for airflow (due to stuffy smell) let in mosquitos which kept biting me during the night. Might be worth supplying guests bug spray.

Good location, spacious room, quirky concept, good breakfast.

For the price, it would be nice to have private refreshment facilities in the room e.g tea/coffee.

Free breakfast. Great staff.

Heat wave so only had a fan. Hot. Shower in downstairs apartment has odor that could be addressed with bottle of clorine left daily by room attendant.

Mayrta was a wonderful breakfast host! Parking was quite convenient. Not far from center of city. Very quiet. Room was concept and quirky.

While we like quirky, we were thankful we are an open couple because the room does not allow for privacy. Standing anywhere in the room you can see into the bathroom (sink, potty and all). You can't open the door to the room while someone is in the bathroom. I did contact the owner before writing this to point out some housekeeping issues. They were very responsive and assured me they would look into my feedback. I felt heard. Beware...there were mosquitoes. Where did they come from? Don't know, but they appeared to multiply overnight even though we kept the windows closed.
