Modern, convenient and beautiful

Modern facilities, gorgeous room that exceeded our expectations! Really perfect location super close to the Christmas markets or otherwise town square. Although we didn’t end up getting to use it, the shared kitchen space was very clean and well organised. Really secure check-in and overall a perfect stay!

The small spiral staircase was very quit difficult especially being on the third floor with big heavy luggage!

Nice stay, ideal distance from main tourist centre

The location is good. About a 10 minute walk to the main tourist area with Grand Place, etc. With only 5 guest rooms it was nice and quiet. Cute common areas - kitchen, table, and toilets downstairs, and a little sitting area the floor above. Good room size and shower. Also shout out to the neighbouring restaurant who let me plug in my phone because the battery died just before we arrived and I needed the door code. We went back there that night for dinner and had delicious pizza.

As many reviews note the stairs are narrow and a bit steep. We were fine with small cases but I wouldn't recommend if travelling with large suitcases or for anyone who struggle with stairs.

Gem in Brussels

Fresh and clean! We even had an outside balcony as a bonus. There is a lovely communal area with teas and coffees and even a fully equipped kitchen.

The staircase was a bit of a challenge.

Pretty rooms in a wonderful location. Good value for money. View from room 4 was great.

The location is perfect. Well designed and communication and access was very easy.

It was quite warm when we stayed and there is no airconditioning. No bins in the rooms made it difficult to keep clean. Also lack of space to put things down (not even a nightstand) and no hooks for towels and such.

There is no fridge in room, that was in lobby for common use. Building has no elevator so It was difficult to use the narrow stairs with suitcases.

The room was cozy and clean. Shared kitchen is very nice and clean. Check in was very easy and convenient. Location is also nice because it's walking distance to everything around the centre. I enjoyed my one night stay overall.

The staircases of course, but I guess that's normal for houses in Europe? I've only stayed in the Amsterdam before, and such small staircase is normal. Here's a suggestion, maybe add a vending machine or something for snacks, noodle cups, any stuff guests usually need so that we don't have to go to the convenient store late at night.

Not really fair

The location was good and the neighbourhood was also like a safe area. It was well cleaned, but the stairs were quite tilted and felt unstable and dangerous. Also, there was no one at reception and the response time was quite slow when checking if something was wrong. The wifi did not work our room AT ALL and was disconnected every three minutes. I asked the manager about the wifi, despite many people writing reviews about it, and I was told it was the first time such a thing had happened, so I guess they haven't looked at the review section properly.The wifi only connects near the door on the ground floor, and you can't use the laptop properly. I came there for work so it was inconvenient. Also, the kitchen area was quite poor, not even a microwave, so it was quite difficult to heat food. There was an electronic stove, so I thought I would use a pot to heat up the food, but not even a pan was provided. Not suitable for a long stay. Given the price, my stay didn't seem fair.

Not as expected.

Good location, room is quite big.

On the day of out arrival the room wasn’t clean. They need more than 2hrs to prepare the room. In the meanwhile we had to left the luggages in the canteen, without any lockers (it was told to us they had). On another day the room wasn’t clean and nobody came even if we asked for, just saying there wasn’t the door tag saying “please clean the room” (which actually was in place). From the room you can hear everything from the stairs.

Disappointing

Nice building, room was modern and fancy, neighborhood was great.

The strangest thing was the (lack of) communication with the hosts. As we arrived we asked on Booking and Whatsapp (Number they provided) if they have another room because we were not really happy with the backyard view and it was very loud when raining. They aswered that they unfortunately have no other free room - ok, no problem! Two days before departure I wrote again on Booking to aks, what kind of transportation they would recommend to get to the airport and got no answer (as there is no reception and the only way to get in contact was via Booking or Whatsapp, whole check in was also automagically with a door code). Wrote again on Whatsapp and via SMS but my messages never atrived - I suppose, they blocked my number? Because we asked for a room change? I don't get it, did not expect it and it was very disappointing.

The room was a really good size. We were sick while we were there, so we really appreciated how much room there was because we spent a lot of time there!

We were a little concerned about the stairs. They're small and curved and some of them weren't in great shape.

Perfect place in a perfect location :)

Neighborhood is super nice, lot of bar and restaurants nearby. Great place to stay if you don't mind a bit of bar noise on the weekends, but IMO it just adds to the charm :)

It can be challenging going up the steep stairs and noise isolation isn't the best, but other than that everything was perfect!

Very good

Location was great, got there pretty fast from the train station. The room clean and comfortable and access was really easy as we were provided the code before our arrival, no key needed.

For us was not really a problem but some might find that the bathroom area lacks intimacy as the sliding doors are not fully sealed when closed.

Superb

Excellent and modern facilities. Central and nice position. They have a coffee machine. You can access the room via a code on a keypad and that's convenient and easy. Books in the room and in the communal spaces were a lovely addition 😊 It was absolutely amazing!

LOVED - Bright, clean & comfy. Very short walk to centre!

We loved our stay here, it was perfect walking distance into the centre but also had so many nice bars and restaurants just around the corner. Was nice not being right in the centre because it meant it was quiet at night. The room was so comfy, bright and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The stairs are quite steep if you are carrying heavy luggage, luckily we only had a small bag so was fine. The morning of check out we could hear the footsteps of whoever was staying upstairs which were quite loud :(

The apartment was just as advertised. Beds are super comfortable and the terrace is definitely a plus in case you like to enjoy some quietness after a day of walking for miles. Location is amazing because it’s right next to the city center but still in a quiet enough neighborhood. The code system to get in the hotel and room worked beautifully and I must say I love the fact that I didn’t have to go through a standard process of check in.

The hotel is centrally located. The room was relatively spacious and quite comfortable.

There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. It was a struggle to get my baggage to and from the room which happened to be on the second floor.
