Very cool decor. Spacious room, very peaceful. Great breakfast. Marvellous coffee. Great location. Quite unique property. Lot of love given to the decor and quality .

Would like a proper coffee machine in room as filters don't really work. Also shower and bath could benefit from a non slip bath as both are quite slippery. Both small issues really, overall a super stay, would highly recommend.

Excellent location, lovely staff. Not the best room design for sleeping.

The location is great and the staff are fantastic. Easy location that is close to everything.

The windows use wooden blinds that do not seal well, so a lot of light leaks in. You could easily read a book in the bed using the light leaking in at midnight. The rooms are kept well cleaned on the surface level, but large dust marks are visible on all walls near the air vents, so don't look to hard. But its honestly a good layout. The in room heating has a fairly loud fan rather than passive radiators, so you may want to turn it off over night (the room holds heat so it's.. ok). The shower dripped all night and had fairly mediocre water pressure. Also suffers for classic European super soft pillows with no neck support.

Cosy place with good coffee

A comfortable place. Did quite a late check-in without any problems. I also enjoyed breakfast, the coffee served was realy great, and this is not always the case in Brussels.

This hotel can be a bit pricey in the peak season due to its great location.

A very pleasant stay

Very well located, right on a metro station, walking distance to the center, yet very quiet (3rd floor) Spotlessly clean The room was quite big, nicely decorated and with a very comfortable bed and good quality sheets and towels. Shower products are very nice too. Friendly staff Decent breakfast with some salty and some sweet options and very good coffee. On my last morning there they gave me croissants to-go even though it was too early and breakfast hadn't started yet. Water fountain (with filter, tap water is theoretically drinkable but not very good) with glass bottles available to take in the room

Some details: -The shower is "open" in the room, so it only works if you're staying alone, as I was, or for a couple, not ideal for friends travelling together.. - Very little "closet" space - The café - bar at reception closes very early - I would have enjoyed a little variety in the breakfast options (I stayed a week and it was the same every day). Also, the waffles were very dry, obviously packaged (everything else was fresh so it was a bit disappointing, since they're the local specialty)

Lovely cute hotel

The location was very convenient near city centre, metro, railway station and Christmas market and even very quite and peaceful. Extremely clean, nice homemade breakfast and very polite staff.

When we cane back to the room at night the heating was off and it was cold but shortly after a member of the staff took care of it.

Great location and wonderful hosts.

Great location right on the main square. Thoughtful and beautiful updates to a historic property. Terrific breakfast and kind hosts. There was a problem with roof repair noise one afternoon as we returned for a short recharge nap-and hosts quickly moved us to a vacant room so we could get a nap in. Very accommodating.

A gem of a hotel in the heart of Brussels

Absolute little gem of a place! Lovely warm welcome and even a complimentary drink. The hotel smelt gorgeous! Our room was very spacious and comfortable, it was also incredibly quiet considering it was in the city and close to all the attractions. Breakfast was a delicious and peaceful experience.

Superb, tastefully decorated, super friendly hotel in great location

Our room right at the top of the hotel was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfy with a view through the skylight of the sky which was enchanting. The staff were all young and incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great location right next to the metro and friendly atmosphere. We really loved everything about the hotel and would stay again without hesitation.

Comfortable stay close to Metro and restaurants.

Very nice and comfortable hotel close to Metro. Easy to walk to shopping area and a lot of restaurants. Took about 15 min to walk to train station. Great room (we had a large room towards the street on 2nd floor), big bathroom and good temperature.

A very stylish, quiet hotel on a vibrant, interesting park. Watch for sharp edges!

Made in Catherine proved to be a very clean, quiet boutique hotel in a fun and safe neighborhood of Brussels. We had the fourth floor attic room, which was cute and perfect for us, but might have been a problem for some guests, due to the quirky layout of the hotel, which required us to take an elevator to the third floor and then carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to the fourth floor. We travel light and had no trouble with this arrangement, but others might find this difficult. The room was very clean and very quiet, even though there is a coffee bar downstairs in the hotel and a lively park area out front. I attribute this to the use of double-pane windows and thick walls throughout. The neighborhood is fabulous with lots of restaurants and people-watching every evening.

The shower floor is pretty slippery. We used an extra towel to make the footing more secure. The interior of the hotel and its rooms are very stylish, but I was surprised by the choices made in the interior décor. Many of the room fixtures and the door handles are quite sharp and I managed to seriously gouge my forearm on the sharp edge of a stylish door lever that I happened to rub against. I had a reminder of this throughout the entirety of my Belgium vacation as I had to wear a large wound dressing over it until it finally healed a couple of weeks later. There is a reason that door handles are round and smooth; it's so that they avoid injuring anyone who might happen to rub against them. The sharp steel shelf supports are another example of a problem waiting to happen. Enjoy the hotel, but be careful what you bump up against.

Good stay overall

Location is amazing - close to everything with many eateries nearby. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was peaceful at night - despite being so central.

I liked the idea of the hotel/café setup, but at times it was hard to get the staff’s attention - which felt a bit awkward. The breakfast also wasn’t quite what I expected - with not many options left towards the end of breakfast... With a few small improvements, the experience could be much better.

Comfortable and Feel welcome, at check in and Check out, and throughout stay.

The simple process at check in and check out. And the use of passkey to access hotel and room, gives a lot of comfort on security. The staff were friendly, attentive and always listening and helping me ( foreign visitor) by offering available assistance.

The room was spacious, though it didn’t feel particularly cozy. The location was excellent — very central and convenient.

Breakfast was a major disappointment. If you prefer fresh salads and properly prepared eggs over processed food and sweets, this might not meet your expectations either.

The breakfast was superb - a fine array of delicious choices. Absolutely terrific location on a wonderful square with delightful shops and so many excellent local restaurant choices with wonderful Belgian food choices. The mussels were marvellous !

Made in Catherine’s rooms are ample in size and super clean.

The highest floors were super hot during stay. You are not able to turn on or off the AC. Also, they ran out of food during Sunday breakfast at 10 and didn’t replenish.
