    Stayed in two junior suites. The hotel is centrally located in a desirable area that is close to the central palace and a good selection of restaurants. The bar of hotel itself was very lively and patronized by a large Brazilian contingent celebrating a band that night. That said there was great entertainment . The downside was the broken elevator which walking to the 4th floor a bit of a challenge. Courteous and helpful staff

    We had a small double. The layout of the room was effective use of the space...more like a canal barge with bed up against the window and we had to clamber in. The shower was slow draining and we had a couple of instances where water flowed onto the bedroom floor. However, the staff couldn't do enough for us and were professional and friendly. The location was central and easy walking distance of most of the city. As we were in a heatwave, the aircon was very much appreciated. Lots of bars around and we were not sure whether it is normally noisy or whether it was due to the football world cup.

    This hotel is in a great location - central to most things. But with that came insanely loud music, screaming and noise from the streets until 5 am. Its right above a bar and its LOUD. I did not sleep at all, which was really unfortunate since I had an early morning and long day of travel ahead. Would not recommend this hotel if intend to sleep.
