The host was amazingly attentive. The dinner was DELICIOUS and bountiful!
A little disconcerting that the shower was spraying in the area of electrical sockets. Adding waterproof electrical boxes for the outlets in the shower/bathroom would be a good idea!

• Flexibility with late evening check-in. Everything was fine in the evening, with a warm welcome.
• The room had an “authentic mountain Albania” feel.
Cleaning was, in my opinion, done rather hastily.
• The hosts most likely didn’t sleep well, as they were not pleasant at all in the morning. For breakfast we were served kebab, half an omelet, bread and jams. Don’t expect anything healthy (fruit / vegetables), and in general don’t expect much outside of their routine.
• Only one of the hosts speaks English.
• Don’t really count on working Wi-Fi in the building.

This was the BEST stay, if not the best part, of our entire trip through the Balkans! The hosts (family) at Te Grima was so warm and welcoming. The food (evening set dinner and also included breakfast) was AMAZING and so filling! The room itself was simple, clean and comfortable. The property was wonderful, with plenty of outdoor space to hang out in and INCREDIBLE views of the mountains!
We stayed here after hiking Valbona to Theth, and while we had to get creative to get up the hill on the other side of the valley bottom (we wanted to avoid paying for a taxi, which was easy to find for about 20euro), we felt very lucky that we were staying a bit out of the tourist-ey and very busy downtown area of Theth.
We met some amazing fellow travelers at Te Grima, and spoke to both the local staff and even their family members over video call to translate some English and Albanian! Before our departure, our hosts gave us tea and cookies for free saw us off as if we were family. If I could rate it a 20/10, I would! Would recommend to anyone looking to experience unmatched, authentic Albanian hospitality :)
p.s. if you are taking a bus back to Shkoder from Te Grima, you can let your bus company know that you are staying there and they can pick you up directly (it is on the way out of Theth), so you can avoid having to walk / get a taxi into town only to go back up the same road. We discovered this by accident, and it worked great!

La habitación nos la encontramos con mucha humedad, que se mantuvo durante toda la estancia. Había numerosas moscas e insectos muertos a lo largo del suelo de la habitación y baño.
