Er was zeer veel dat het bezoek aan River side bijzonder de moeite waard maakte. Allereerst de kennismaking met de eigenaar. Het was warm weer en we kregen gelijk koel bronwater in de weelderige tuin aangeboden. Alles aan het grote huis en het appartement was bijzonder. De sfeer en de inrichting vol antiek en bijzondere details. Er bleek ook nog een binnenzwembad te zijn. Fantastisch! Zo ook het ontbijt aan de klassiek gedekte tafel met onder veel meer warm gekookte eieren van de kippen die vrij in de besloten tuin rondlopen.

Bella la stanza e molto comodo il parcheggio privato. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. Huningue è un posto particolare, molto bella la passerella dei tre paesi con cui si attraversa il Reno e ci si trova in Germania. In un quarto d'ora in bici si arriva nel centro di Basilea.
