The restaurant on the ground floor is really excellent.

A big family room, clean
Just, add some light. It’s so dark 😬

Cute looking accommodation. Supermarket and food close by. Comfortable beds. Good shower.
The pillows were uncomfortable and strangest I’ve seen. No fridge in our room or kettle. Staff could have been friendlier. I feel the basics were met but they didn’t go above and beyond. It may have been because of the language barrier but we didn’t feel particularly welcomed like we have been in the rest of Europe. The church bells go off here even during the night which I’ve never experienced before. The air conditioner was not connected in our room and it had exposed wires.

Very nice hotel close to Basel - warm welcome - comfortable beds - large rooms - nice dinner at the hotel 's restaurant - great breakfast with plenty of options [ including home made yoghurt, gluten free bread, fruit and vegetable]. Quiet rooms and parking available in the back of the hotel.

We had a deluxe suite it had two king beds which were very comfortable. Two bathrooms which was lovely since we traveled with our adult son. We ate in the restaurant the first evening which had a small menu, but very good food and wine choices. Quite location, very friendly staff. Loads of natural sunlight and huge kitchen, albeit no cooking equipment. Plenty of parking in lot located to the rear of the property.
Not great WIFI, which was frustrating for our "IT" son. Our shower drained soooooooo slowly. We actually had to turn the water off during our shower to not flood the kitchen. There was no coffee for the maker the first morning, but the staff member in the kitchen gave me a thermos of coffee for my husband and I. The lights next to the bed in the first bedroom were insufficient for reading in bed, however; there was a lamp that I could have moved to that location.

The hotel had a very warm and cozy atmosphere. If you want to experience authentic German vibes, this place is a great choice. The room was spacious, and the free parking was perfect for a road trip. The restaurant served delicious German cuisine, and the breakfast was excellent! The staff were super friendly too! It was such a pleasant stay!

Spacious
The bin in the kitchen had not been emptied after the last guests.

the room was beautiful and pretty clean. we loved that we could open the windows all the way so you could let in fresh air. the bathroom was tidy and had a bath and a shower. the staff member that checked us in was very helpful and accommodating!
when you do decide to open the windows, you realise your room is located next to a busy road and next to a church tower. we stayed in room 34, so in the other building. it was hot in the room and my girlfriend has a dust allergy, so there wasn’t any other option than to open the windows and try to sleep with the noise of cars and people outside. maybe it would’ve been better in the main building, or a room not situated next to the road, but we could barely sleep in this room.
the pillows were really thin and there were no extra pillows in the room either, which also didn’t help. we also couldn’t connect to the wifi.

It was a beautiful, quiet hotel and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious with a lot of variety. It was also only a short walk to the Vitra Collection - which was fantastic. It was close to public transportation and many restaurant options.
Our room was right off of the common courtyard which thankfully didn’t prove to be an issue.

Excellent location with private parking.
A staff member made a mistake in the bill. He charged us 13,50 euros for drinks that we never ordered and refused to adjust the final bill.
The carpet is the rooms is old and not very clean. Breakfast was not great. The food in the restaurant is overpriced.
