A pleasant stay, except for the bed, which kind of sucks for a hotel/guest house.

The location is really convenient. It's awesome they accept animals. There's room for parking. The Rewe right next to it (from 7am to 10pm) is a real plus. It's quiet. The shower is so nice !

The beds are the huge negative. They say we'd get a double bed, it's a lie ! They just push two singles next to each other. So you end up with two single cover, a crack in the middle of your bed. On top of that, the cushions are horrible. It's almost as if you had none.

We arrived late in the evening, but did not have any problems with the check-in. We received clear instructions on how to get to the hotel and to the room! The manager was in touch all the time, although we called him late! Everything is fine, the room is spacious. The price is the best of those hotels that were nearby.

The Pension may not be located centrally in Weil am Rhein, but it is not a problem - great access to city center and to Basel by bus or by train. Close to the famous Vitra Campus, which was our main reason for visits. Our room was huge, the beds very comfortable and the balcony was an added bonus. There are no breakfasts, but there is a supermarket just a few steps away, with a small cafe serving good coffee and basic breakfast fare.

Spacious room, interior looks from '00s but the bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and tidy including the bathroom. Contactless check-in possible with easy key disposal at the main door. Good location when you're on transit to Switzerland/Italy. There is a bakery around the corner for breakfast and a Lidl nearby.

Musquitos! But it's that time of the season (summer). And there is a railroad nearby. We almost didn't hear it, beside for that one freight train early in the morning. So keep the balcony door closed!

Great stay on the way to Italy...

We arrived very late but the check in is so simple and contactless that it didn't bother the host. We got very clear instruction directly on our phone, so kind of the host... And of course the dog was for free, which is absolutely precious! We stopped overnight on the way to Italy, definitely recommend it and will stop here again!

The only two problems for me, being tall, was the length of the bed and width of cover...

Very clean and large room! Location is ideal, close to the highway and with a large supermarket and bakery next door all you need within range. The owner is very helpful with all questions and requests you have.

Beds are a little short for tall people. But incase of a one night stay no problem!

Good stopover when travelling back from Italy

Perfect location if you are travelling from Italy back to the Netherlands. We had the top floor room which was perfect for us and our two kids. The town has a nice restaurant and winery which you can visit

In the hall you could smell cigaretes, but in the room this smell was not noticed.

Winter and no hitting at all, for all the night.. We had such a bad time and we where traveling with two small baby. In situations like this we should be refund for the damage.

Superb

Well in this time it’s a little difficult for the breakfast because of Corona . The staff was really good , friendly . The location was super only 1 min from the train station so you can enjoy your stay till the last min .

It will be super if I as many other people would have a place to stay for a cigarette when the weather it’s rain outside .

Very convenient stop over close to the highway, clean, comfortable, and friendly hosts!

Because of Covid19 a buffet breakfast wasn't allowed to be offered, which the host notified me in advance and was very generous to offer to allow us to cancel if we wanted to even. However, we decided to stay anyway as their description of the grocery door next door offering anything you would need was perfect. Fresh sushi, fruit and salad bar, and bakery even. Super convenient as this was a pit stop on our way home from vacation. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and always available to answer any questions.

Our room was on the top floor and due to the heat it was very warm. They provided 2 fans thank goodness, but even still it was very warm. We thankfully had brought our own fan as well, so we all managed to sleep well. The wifi does not work on the top floor either.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Das Gästehaus liegt in der Nähe vom Bahnhof in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Das Haus an sich macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck und das Zimmer war geräumig und es war alles vorhanden, was ich benötigt habe. Ein großes Lob für den Schminkspiegel im Badezimmer, der ist inzwischen nicht mehr Standard in vielen Hotels. Meine Anreise erfolgte so spät, dass die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt war, den Zimmerschlüssel konnte ich über einen Code, der mir per Mail&WhatsApp zugeschickt wurde, problemlos aus einem Schließfach entnehmen. Parkplätze waren am Haus vorhanden und auf Fragen per WhatsApp wurde umgehend reagiert.

Im Hausflur roch es nach Zigarettenrauch, das empfand ich ein wenig störend. Im Zimmer selbst war dieser allerdings nicht mehr wahrnehmbar. Direkt vor meinem Zimmer muss eine Belüftungsanlage des Hauses oder des Supermarktes nebenan sein, die man bei offenem Fenster mehrmals pro Minute hört. Ist das Fenster nur gekippt oder geschlossen, ist das Geräusch allerdings nicht mehr zu hören und es hat mich auch nicht wirklich gestört.

1 bed was doorgezakt waardoor een kuil en het kraakte, gehorig gebouw, erg warm en raam kon niet open gehouden worden ivm lawaai en roken van buren op balkons en houtstook in de buurt(dus niet goed geslapen), douchekop moest je vasthouden

Die Ankunft war sehr unkompliziert und die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war sehr gut. Es war auch toll, dass der Hund kein Problem war. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

Parkplätze stehen nicht in ausreichender Menge zur Verfügung und wir mussten auf dem Rewe Parkplatz nebenan parken. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir aber herausgefunden, dass wir vor Garagen hätten parken können… Leider tatsächlich etwas hellhörig.

Dichtbij de snelweg, prima stop op doorreis naar Italië. Broodjes om de hoek bij de bakker in de supermarkt te verkrijgen, ook mogelijk om hier te ontbijten. Kamer meer dan groot genoeg. Vriendelijke eigenaar die snel reageert op berichtjes en ook tips voor dineren gaf.

Kamer lag heel dichtbij de supermarkt, waar grote koelmotoren tegen de muur hingen die best wat geluid maakte. Slapen met de raam open ging dus niet. Hele slappe, zachte kussens maar dat is meer een persoonlijke voorkeur
