Very friendly landlady.

The lady was pleasant and welcoming. It's obvious her guests' satisfaction mean a lot to her. We were able to sit in the breakfast room and eat our food and have a drink. It was kind of her to provide coffee and tea and some small breakfast provisions. There was a coffee machine and a fridge too. The house was interestingly and lovingly furnished. There was a bus not far the accommodation to the centre of Weil am Rhein and the station and to Basel which we used. We wish the landlady all the best.

Sadly we slept badly for the two nights we were there as the rooms are situated around a very very creaky staircase. We heard every guest go up and down the stairs and into their rooms and bang the front door. This is the only reason we cannot give a score of 10 as sleep is so important.

A haven of peace, as close as you want to be to the busy world and yet far away

The tranquility of the property and the garden, both thoughtfully curated with meaningful artefacts. A haven of peace in a busy world. Ines couldn't have made our stay more pleasant.

It's a very different experience to a standard hotel or AirBnB type experience.

Ines (the host) was always on hand to assist with any queries and ensured I was aware of all the breakfast and snack options freely available. A no. 55 bus stops nearby and goes to Basel where other busses and trams connect to places of interest in Basel and the main line station. It's only a 10 minute walk to the Vitra Design Museum.

clean, friendly & adequate place for a short visit

Location was easy to find, along busy main road, with free parking a short distance away on a quiet side street. Host was friendly & spoke adequate English. Room was small but adequate for requirements. Handful of nearby restaurants. Decent value compared with the local area but quite expensive for what it was. wifi worked fine, didn't try streaming. Good quality toilet paper. Breakfast wasn't provided but fruit was available.

Location on the busy road meant traffic noise was noticeable. Stay was during a heatwave, no A/C meant having the window open for ventilation, but meant disturbed with the traffic. Local church bells ring throughout the night to disturb further.

Good information in advance, very nice, friendly and warm welcome by the host. The double room was fully equipped, including details such as multiple types of chargers. Very clear. Really an excellent stay! Location is on walking distance from restaurants and the Vitra campus.

The place was very good friendly lady the owner breakfast was good and owner was really helpful. A lot of histrionic interesting items in the house loved the history

Noisy but otherwise OK

The hotel feels homely and there was a good breakfast selection. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There is no noise insulation whatsoever. I could hear every single thing that was happening in the adjacent rooms and was kept awake by other guests playing music and videos, and creaking floorboards as people walked past the room. The traffic noise was also noticeable, even though I was facing away from the street. Unfortunately I got a very poor night's sleep as a result.

A piece of home along the road

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who want to make you feel at home. Very spacious, comfortable, and clean room, with private and well-designed bathroom. Very nice toilet paper. Many restaurants close by (info given with the room). Wonderful, simple breakfast on offer.

The breakfast was no frills self serve with pre-packaged cake rolls, a great selection of quality teas, coffee from a coffee machine, butter and jam, and I may have overlooked some more. No has browns, eggs or ham but for us it was just fine.

The house is very beautiful,the person that gave me the key was very nice , he show me the kitchen,the balcony to smoke,and offer me beer ,coffee ,water and snacks.

The only thing was the dogs.
