Nice hotel in a convenient location

It's in a convenient location near Basel and Weil am Rhein. The room is of a sufficient size and comfortable. The only problem is that there is no elevator access to the upper floors. It has a very nice restaurant, and serves delicious food.

Breakfast is very basic and weak.

Lovely family stay at Krone Hotel

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Bus stop to Lorrach or to Basel was a one-minute walk. Very good breakfast - bread, eggs, cheese, sausages, cereal, jam, yogurt, fruit, etc. The food from the restaurant was excellent. Try the creme brulee!

There is nothing much near to the hotel. Only a small Bakery and a restaurant a little walk up the road. It would have been nice to have a little convenience store or small supermarket nearby.

perfect space close to Basel

Clean, quiet, big enough for our stop-over. Inzlingen is a really nice area. Breakfast was really good. Staff super helpful (they printed something for me, and run after us when we left and we forgot the teddy bear in the bedroom !) note: the parking is not secure - 50m from the hotel (but the area is super safe)

The room was equipped with air conditioning.The staff was very friendly, the location is ideal for an overnighter. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we arrived on a Sunday. Parking is roughly 100 meters from the hotel.

Highly recommended run by a lovely family with great food.

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely hotel. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Having a restaurant with great food was an added bonus. Its location is great giving us access to Basel and the Black Forest. We will be back.

put away in a shed

I’ve stayed in this hotel before. back then we slept in the main building of the hotel. those rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated.

this time they gave me a room in another building. the quality of that building and the room was poor. the room wasn’t sound isolated and when quests closed the front door, the wall - of where the bed was placed - was shaking. bathroom was old, not as in the pictures on booking.com or their website. the room wasn’t clean. I guess they only use these rooms when the hotel is fully booked. there was lots of dust on the ceiling, lamp and floor. it’s a shame they let people sleep there for the full price of a standard room.

It was far from the city but there are public transportation and if I had a car it would be perfect and easy to go to Switzerland and france in 15 min.

perfect stay in a small town close by the Swiss border.

Rooms are nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful. Haven’t tried the restaurant but the menu looked delicious.

Rooms are excellent. We stayed in 3 SNG with my colleques. Very clean and comfort. Don’t miss the restaurant for a dinner - exceptional food and service ❤️. Will stay there for sure for our next business trip.

Lovely and cosy, nice quiet surroundings, great for an overnight stay.

A small, cosy hotel with an excellent restaurant which we didn't manage to experience as it was fully booked. We were given directions to another restaurant further along, about a 5 minute walk, and it was very good. The room was quiet and functional.

It's very good for an overnight stay, but our room would have been a bit small with little view if we'd stayed longer.

Pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel just a short drive from Basel

Family room was clean & comfortable beds though tight space. Spacious bathroom & quality toiletries provided in shower (shampoo, body wash & lotion). Breakfast was delicious and had a large variety of freshly prepared foods. Definitely worth the price! Staff was helpful & kind despite our lack of ability to speak German.

Parking lot has very limited spaces & street parking isn't allowed (or you get towed).

Top level service! my son forgot his stuffed animal, and they made the effort to send it to us. very happy boy! very good choice for families, good family room and great breakfast, also for kids.
