Good value for money, peaceful town

Very clean rooms and very helpful staff. Much better value for money than staying inside Basel town during Basel Art Fair. Only 5 minutes walk to the supermarket for food. Lovely to wake up to the sound of the church bells and birds singing. Very tranquil town.

The location is not ideal for somebody without a car. Taxis are available if you book an hour or so in advance. I was aware of this, so it was not a problem.

Quiet rooms in the sense that you heard no cars/roads/trains = good for traveling purposes

The fan in the bathroom was making a lot of noise. This was caused by the fact that it wasn't cleaned for a long time. I removed (and cleaned) the filter after which the fan was quiet again.

Nice, clean and spacious accommodation. Would def. stay here again. Also a few cutlery items available.

While travelling with kids we would have wished for a breakfast option. Was not a big issue, though. I'd rather consider a proper FFP2/two-layer face mask in sound condition as a gold standard for a host, not reluctantly wearing a worn down medical two-layer mask.

This a very nice place very quiet. We received an excellent welcome while we arrived very late in the night. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They were exceptionally clean and offer excellent towels I will really appreciate this lovely place.

Perfect location on the way from Italy to The Netherlands. We booked the room 1 hour before the arrival, late in the evening. No problem at all.

Un soggiorno piacevole

Non abbiamo potuto incontrare il personale perche c'era il self-checkin con un codice che hanno dato il giorno d'arrivo. La camera è molto spaziosa e pulita. Abbiamo trovato molto utile la presenza della macchina di caffè e il bollitore cosi abbiamo potuto fare la nostra colazione in camera. C'è anche un frigo con due bottigliette d'acqua gratuito. Ampio parcheggio gratuito sulla piazzetta davanti.

Großes Zimmer - toller Service

Das Zimmer ist sehr groß. Auf meine Anfrage bezüglich einer defekten Kaffeemaschine bzw. Schlechtem WLAN wurde unverzüglich eine Ersatz Maschine geliefert und das WLAN funktionierte am nächsten Morgen wieder. TOP

Piacevole sosta in questo confortevole albergo-birreria

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera grande indipendente con angolo cucina al pianterreno, spaziosa e ben attrezzata. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile, nonostante la prenotazione "last minute" e il nostro arrivo in piena ora di cena. Abbiamo anche cenato nel ristorante della struttura (in cui eravamo già stati due anni prima): molto buono e con piacevole biergarten. Se torneremo in questa zona, ci fermeremo senz'altro di nuovo qui!

Sehr netter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft befindet sich neben einem netten Biergarten, wo man abends noch schön sitzen und etwas essen oder trinken kann. Als Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg Richtung CH oder F sehr zu empfehlen.

Prima locatie om te overnachten. Eenvoudig gasthof, waarbij prijs/kwaliteit in balans zijn.

Ik moest 1 dag en avond in Bazel zijn en dit leek me een passende locatie om, met gebruik van OV, naar de stad te gaan. De heenreis vanuit het gasthof naar Bazel met de trein ging prima. In de avond terug met OV - is gelukt, maar - bleek een uitdaging. Reizen vanuit CH naar D brengt dan toch nét wat meer gedoe met zich mee. Volgende keer toch een hotel in de stad Bazel (of met de auto naar de stad en daar parkeren). Het gasthof (en mijn kamer) waren écht OK. Eenvoudig, heel ruim en voor een overnachtingsplek prima.

Suna clopotul de la biserică din oră-n oră, pt. persoanele cu somnul precar, nu recomand, eu m-am trezit de câteva ori pe noapte În plus, era cam frig, deşi am umblat la calorifer, nu încălzea, abia dimineaţa începuse să se-ncălzească. E o casă veche, probabil neizolată termic, unde pare că în anotimpul rece e frig, iar în cel cald e prea cald. Totuşi, primăvara sunt 8 grade Celsius noaptea, deci tot trebuie încălzire peste noapte, măcar un pic.
