The Annex Glastonbury Tor View

The property is a converted barn in the middle of fields with little traffic and has the Tor view in the distance. It has a lot of mod cons and is cool in summer. It is quite private even though it is on the end of the owners house. It’s also a 20 minute walk to Glastonbury which was a nice walk through a trail. The bed is comfortable and the property is quite clean.

Despite me saying it has a lot of mod cons,it doesn’t have a microwave and the tv doesn’t work well due to the fact it has poor WiFi connection. I asked the owner about it and he says it’s a poor WiFi area so in a way it’s not his fault and if you like total peace then it’s a good thing, but my partner likes a bit of tv in the night time. We had to rely on iPad to solve this. Also, it could be better privacy wise due to the fact there was no fence or bushes all the way around the outdoor seating area. If there was then it would be spot on. The property just needed a few finishing touches inside and outside there was currently building work as the wall had been knocked down which again is t the owners fault.

Really lovely little place in a great location out on The Levels.

A few more details about use of fob to open gate would have been helpful.

All facilities catered for. Great views. Comfortable.

Outside seating area could have been a bit tidier making it more inviting to sit in warm weather probably due to the ongoing building works. Maybe a verander from the upstairs would be a nice touch. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the TV or streaming services due to poor WiFi connection. Mirror in bedroom or living room. Hooks in bathroom for towels.

Clean

Building in front spoilt the view when sat outside. Also TV would not work - just continually buffering the whole time. No instructions or anything.
