A friendly and helpful host. Located in a quiet position on the edge of town . Plenty of available parking in the vicinity. Within reasonable walking distance of local attractions. Nice clean room with private bathroom available just down the hallway. I would be happy to stay again in the future .
There was nothing to dislike. Not an issue for me however the approach roads are a little steep, but only for those walking who may have mobility issues .

Great communications with the host, who provided a lovely clean room that was peaceful.
The whole transaction was smooth and parking was closed to the property.
The host was really helpful with tips to get to places of interest and gave me a nice little continental breakfast, as though I was in a hotel, but better value. I had my own bathroom down the hall.
The bed was reaaaally comfortable
The room was small but it was well equipped and laid out, it didn't impact the enjoyment of my stay.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean (except above the wardrobe), the bathroom was spacious and clean with towels provided, and the property was comfortably warm.
It was nice —a short walk into town, with a local shop nearby and plenty of beautiful places to walk and explore.
We also didn't see much of the host and had our privacy.
Even knowing it was room only, we expected at least some cutlery or plates to be provided, but we did have a tea station, which was okay, but no mini fridge to store chilled food or liquids. Having to eat out each day or order takeaway got expensive, but we were prepared for that outcome.
I would say that even though the walk into town was short, it was downhill, so walking back up lost its charm after a couple of days. You definitely need your own vehicle to fully explore the nearby towns/villages, as the public transport is lacking.
