Louisa was a lovely host. Greeting me and ensuring I knew where the facilities were. As well as clear and easy directions to get into town. The bed was super comfy.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean (except above the wardrobe), the bathroom was spacious and clean with towels provided, and the property was comfortably warm.
It was nice —a short walk into town, with a local shop nearby and plenty of beautiful places to walk and explore.
We also didn't see much of the host and had our privacy.
Even knowing it was room only, we expected at least some cutlery or plates to be provided, but we did have a tea station, which was okay, but no mini fridge to store chilled food or liquids. Having to eat out each day or order takeaway got expensive, but we were prepared for that outcome.
I would say that even though the walk into town was short, it was downhill, so walking back up lost its charm after a couple of days. You definitely need your own vehicle to fully explore the nearby towns/villages, as the public transport is lacking.
