Grail Cottage

Location is amazing right opposite Chalice Well and underneath the Tor which felt very charged. The space is very simple but cosy, good value and ideal for a few days stay if you are travelling light and planning to eat out. Comfy bed and everything felt good quality. Coffee station well set up. The windows in the bathroom cast incredible rainbows all across the walls. I had a night shower with the glowing moon right outside with a rainbow halo. Hosts were very welcoming over message.

Only downside is no visitor parking which is annoying to try and find somewhere if you don’t know the area Bedroom is also right on the road (noise wasn’t too disruptive) but the location makes up for this

Beautiful accommodation. Such attention to detail. So many lovely touches, wonderful toiletries, tea, coffee, plates and cutlery, decent wine glass. Really comfortable bed and decent pillows! Wonderful shower. Didn’t want to leave! There’s no parking at the property but there car park just round the corner.

Liked how close it was to the Tor and Challice well The beds were really comfortable The bathroom was lovely The kitchen items were useful and a added bonus The did not smell of strong smell There was a really good air con fan type system The furniture was lovely The cleanliness and hygiene was great The furnishings were nice and relaxing The host messaged to make sure we were ok and close by if needed

The key turn was a little tricky Having a blind at the toilet and shower area would have been nice to feel more private The bright light from the microwave and tv stand by shone out into the room very brightly It would have been nice to have a privacy blind at the door too

Every thoughtful thing for our use, plugs, torch etc, really great space to use
