About this apartment rental

This lovely flat has a king sized bed in the cosy bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and basin plus a washing machine. The well stocked kitchen has views over the Moors as you wash up or you can use the dishwasher. There is a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The living room has a sofa, armchairs and Freeview TV. There is free WiFi. The conservatory has a dining table and chairs for four, plus a comfy arm chair. Outside there is a deck, patio and small lawn area to sit and watch the sunset and view. Because there are beautiful views, we do have 39 steps down to and up to the apartment from the two entrances that we have to our property. We live above the apartment so you will hear us moving around.

This is a charming and lovely property, easy walk to High Street with its many shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It’s a longer walk to the Chalice Well and the base of the Tor, but you can walk to High Street and catch a quick bus there. Our hosts were wonderful.

The property itself was neat, tidy and clean. Well equipped for basic needs. Weather unfortunately did not allow us to see the lovely sights however we knew they were there. Only downside was steps leading down to the property. The sensor lights did not stay on and it was difficult to see in the dark while going down steep slippery steps. Handrail not easy to reach and one of our party fell due to poor lighting. Other than this the property was a lovely find.

Very good view, looking westward. You will need a car and should not choose this property if you have issues with your knees - lots of steps. We toured from here to Salisbury and Stonehenge and Bath. Nice spot to unwind at end of day.

There was nothing missing. Utilities complete. Bed comfortable. Sofa bed in lounge was great. We were fortunate.. showers of shooting stars fell across the sky fir 4 night visit 1st week January many colours. The apartment is 10 minute walk to town , the town has no franchise of clothes stores or coffee bars or cafes fantastic food. The host provided ground coffee and teas. Excellent holiday

It’s just a shame that we only had 2 nights at the Flying Dragon’s Nest. It’s so central to numerous places. Clean and well equipped, the view of the countryside and garden can be admired from the inside as well as outside. Very comfortable bed with crisp white linens. Vanessa answered any questions I had before arrival promptly. I would recommend spending a relaxing break here.

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Glastonbury with a short, pretty walk into town, this is the place! Loved the elevated view and the amazing landscaping. Vanessa was engaged and pleasant and made sure the futon was set up as a bed for a second guest when we arrived. The stairs to and from the “nest” are not for the faint of heart, though. Don’t overpack! Nice large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Adorable kitchen. Cozy, very small bedroom but the bedding and mattress were lovely. Enthusiastically recommend this place!

We had a perfect 4 night stay at the Flying Dragon's Nest. Ideal location. Owners strike the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Lovely furnishings with very comfortable bed. So cosy and warm to return to after a cold November day exploring Glastonbury and further afield. Would stay again if we come back to this area.

We stayed here for two nights, and it was perfect. The on street parking behind was ample and safe, we left our car there and walked everywhere as it is only a 5 minute walk to the high street, and 30 to the Tor. We were treated to an incredible sunset. The place is clean and a lovely space with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect apartment, very clean, beautiful garden. Amazing location, only 5 minute walk from the high street. We never got in the car after arriving and was able to do everything we wanted from this location. The owner is a lovely lady who was very helpful. We loved staying at the Flying Dragon’s Nest. Vanessa and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating, and the flat itself was very charming and comfortable, with amazing views of the Somerset Levels. It was also very handy being just a 5-10 minute walk into Glastonbury (close to lots of nice eateries offering vegan options for us). We would definitely stay here again - although the steps may be a bit of a challenge when our seven month old baby starts crawling, but the flat and its beautiful gardens would be perfect for a couple’s weekend away or for families with older children (who won’t be keen to crawl down the steps!).
