Very cosy cottage with character. Nice location, spacious, very clean. Nice garden.
Lack of food cupboard storage in the kitchen but we managed. Didn’t realise that the cottage was attached to owners house and was her garden. Wasn’t a problem though and Tasmin and her dog are lovely.

Welcome gifts on arrival. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen and very clean. Spacious rooms throughout. Bins provided for re cycling. The wood burner was lovely and gave a warm homely feel when we were relaxing. The host was very friendly and helpful. Gardens were beautiful. Scenic location and not too far away from Glastonbury if you have a car.
Trying to get the key safe to open and close. Limited hanging space in bedroom and having to stand on tiptoes to see in the bathroom mirror. A full length mirror in the twin bedroom or hallway would be a great addition 😁

This was a beautiful farmhouse cottage adjoining the owners house. It was clean and beautifully styled. Parking and private area was available, as well as larger garden to respectfully enjoy. The home had all the items you would need to fully function in home from home environment. The real fire was made up ready for our use, very welcome if you haven't done that before. And the owner kindly left juice and chocolate as welcome gift. The christmas tree, lights and wreath were a lovely seasonal touch.
The owner was very communicative and kept us informed of everything we would need to know prior to arrival and offered help just a call/message away if required. She gave brilliant directions for a local walk to the Tor.
A great location just slightly away from the town centre, so a car essential, but close enough to visit the town centre and many surrounding towns and villages. We used it as an ideal Base for our stay. Thankyou very much.
There was nothing to not like.

Lovely clean house to stay in. Loved the location as we were wanting to walk places. 40 minute walk over the downs and you are in Glastonbury or a lovely walk to Wells.
The garden was lovely and there was no noise in the evening so it was great to relax after a busy day

We couldn't have been happier with this lovely (and superbly restored) cottage, which was attached to the larger property where our hostess lived, but was nonetheless completely quiet and private. Communication with our hostess was easy, we received a warm welcome, and we were delighted with everything about the flat. It was beautifully furnished, well-equipped, and had a large back garden, which we were free to use. The area was great for walking, including to the Tor and beyond. It is clear that you need a car or bicycles to stay here, but the drive to the center is not long, and there are several public parking lots in town--we never had trouble finding a place to park in Glastonbury proper when we drove in from the cottage.

Me and my friend stayed here for a long weekend. Tamsin was so friendly and welcoming and had thought of all the little touches. Her cottage and garden are beautiful. I also cant forget her lovely dog pepper that would come and say hi
Nothing it was perfect

The cottage is beautiful, spacious, clean. Everything we could possibly need was there for us. It was a short and easy drive into Glastonbury. The cottage is quiet and peaceful. Perfect for our needs.
We had a lovely time and these are just a tiny 'negatives'.
- The address/location of the cottage was very easy to find, but the entrance itself was a little more tricky.
- The driveway to park the car was just on the other side of the owner's house rather than right next to the cottage. No big deal - just 15-20m away.

Beautiful Location, but Poor Experience
I recently stayed for two nights in a 16th-century property that promised an enchanting experience but fell short in several areas. While the location itself was absolutely stunning, the overall experience was marred by the owner's excessive interference and strict rules.
Upon arrival, we were immediately overwhelmed by the owner's constant presence and instructions on how to use basic amenities, including the toilet and washing pans. It felt more like being under surveillance than being guests in a historic home. Despite the advertisement mentioning access to the garden and a swimming pool, both were off-limits during our stay, which was disappointing.
To make matters worse, we experienced issues with heating during our winter visit in February. Although we attempted to turn on the central heating, it was ineffective, and we were instructed to keep the curtains closed to retain warmth due to drafty windows. Unfortunately, this made our stay quite uncomfortable.
Additionally, the owner charged us extra fees without clear communication, which felt unwarranted. When she asked for another £114 for my daughter and wife coming she asked for more, I paid but no invoice or receipt given after I requested.
My children were also reprimanded for touching the drawers, adding to the overall anxiety of the stay.
After leaving, I received a message from the owner claiming that her cleaner found a stain on the carpet and that she would need to call in carpet cleaners. I can assure you, there was no stain, further adding to my frustration with this experience.
In summary, while the property has great potential due to its beautiful location and historic charm, the owner's anxiety and overbearing nature overshadowed our experience. I would not recommend this location for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Location suited us very well as it was quieter being a short drive from the main town. Property was amazing, full of character yet beautifully renovated and immaculately clean and tastefully decorated and furnished it felt like a home from home. The pool would have been wonderful to use too as we were lucky with warm autumn sun, but sadly didn't have chance as we were there for studies. It felt so warm and invited with lovely welcome touches from our host.
Hardly anything to report here, if you are a keen cook perhaps take your own foil, and perhaps a sharp knife. I love a bath and the property has two shower rooms but that was only a small detail and this use of the space was a huge bonus for 2 friends travelling together - I am struggling with this section as the cottage is superb and I would highly recommend it.
