Avalon Retreat Cabin

Superbly decorated and magical little bolt hole 2 minutes to the main high street. There is everything you need for your stay, the bed is super comforatble, the cabin is clean and there is also a great little private garden space tucked away behind the cabin. Amelia and John are great hosts-we had a small issue on our second day and it was dealt with very promptly and without fuss. Couldn't recommend the Avaloj retreat more highly :-)

Nothing-was fantastic

So much thought has gone into this little retreat with everything you could possibly need being provided. The hosts were really lovely and very welcoming. Once we were greeted we were left to do our own thing for the whole stay, which was absolutely perfect. There was access to a private little outside seating area which was really lovely. The location was perfect as it is less than 5 minute walk to the town centre. We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend this beautiful little retreat.

My stay was excellent! The place had everything I needed for a few days, including a small kitchen. The place was actually cool during the hot days and the bed was really comfortable. Quiet place and 5 min from the high street. The hosts were super responsive to my questions and i'd stay here again.

Perfectly located (I popped in and out constantly to drop off heavy purchases (obviously have to buy every book and candle I see), nap, pop on warmer clothes etc.), really cosy both the decor and the bed, everything provided for you might need including a wee private garden. And it was nice and cool despite warm weather. Next time I'm definitely going to take them up on the breakfast offer as it sounds lush. Had a nice chat when I arrived and am only sorry I didn't have a chance to say bye as I had to creep out early. Have already recommended it to friends. Thanks :)
