Glastonbury - ContactlessCheckIn - Free Parking

It was lovely and contained and had everything you could need .. including shower wash and washing up liquid . The bed was comfy and it was lovely and warm . It was slightly out of town but near enough to walk so the added bonus of saving on parking fees. Absolutely well worth the money .

The hum of the freezer and the extractor fan in the bathroom , but I’m not sure how that could be changed .

Self check in

Communication issue with the host: I contacted the property a few days before my arrival to ask if I could check in earlier because I had a prior commitment. I tried to contact them through Booking.com, email, and WhatsApp, using the address and number provided in the standard welcome message I received on Booking, but they never saw or responded to any of my messages. When I arrived and asked to enter, the cleaning service was still working, so I was unable to access the property. As a result, I was only able to enter late in the evening.

It was a amazing stay, loved it. Everything you needed was provided. Great value for money.

Bed was a little creeky, but that was it. Everything else was super.

Towels and bedding were clean, as were the kitchen and bathroom. A nice location, handy for town, and the room had everything we needed in terms of tools and equipment. I think it would probably be a super place to stay in the summer but there were one or two issues that let it down for us in October.

No key to lock the window at night. The bed squeaked really badly every time we moved and kept waking us up, as did the fridge which kept turning on and making a noise. In the mornings we woke up to heavy condensation on the door and windows and a musty smell despite the vents being open - it's probably a perfectly lovely place to stay in the summer but not so great in the autumn. There was also absolutely nowhere to park despite free parking being mentioned in the title - we ended up leaving our car in st Dunstan carpark for an additional fee.
