Perfect short stay location

Quirky and clean, very nice host, attractions etc in walking distance

A small fold-away table would complete the nice room (maybe instead of the lounge seat), so two people can use it to drink tea/coffee or play cards

The Glastonbury Experience

It's a really nice house and a great location, just around the corner to the High Street. Frank's a really nice host too and very knowledgeable about all the local amenities, which is quite handy. He could be a tour guide 😁👍. All in all, 10/10 👍

Nothing we didn't like. There's no TV in the room, but not a problem for us, as we didn't go there to watch TV.

Home was beautifully and artistically curated, clean and in a marvelous location close to the epicenter of town. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Location was excellent (not far from my venue); and the accommodation was quirkily attractive, decorated with the paintings and drawings of the friendly and helpful host.

Privacy not respected and best avoided by solo travellers.

The bedroom was nicely decorated. The location was convenient for the town. The owner Frank was initially friendly and put me at ease by explaining that he slept downstairs and the bathroom would be just for my use. This turned out not to be the case.

The Host using the bathroom facilities during my stay after clearly stating on the 8th April 2023 (Property Questions and Answers Page) that guests “would have sole use of the bathroom during their stay”. This was one of the main reasons I booked this property. I was informed during check in that the Guest House Owner had his own separate accommodation down stairs and that I would have private use of the facilities upstairs and would not be disturbed. I was woken up by the sound of footsteps on creaking floor boards outside my bed room door which woke me up as the owner passed my bedroom on his way to use the bathroom. He then went into the adjacent bedroom to sleep for the rest of the evening. I slept very little unfortunately due to feeling very uncomfortable and vulnerable. I will not be staying at this property again and will not recommend.

Excellent spot for lovely Glastonbury town visit, for leisure or business

Arty, comfortable and peaceful!

Perfect location, beautiful room and an excellent host! Frank was very warm and welcoming and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. If you love art and want a quiet, yet central, location, this is the place for you.

Parking is tricky, but it is doable. That's not the host's fault though, it's just Glastonbury!

Very memory making 24 hours in a stunning beautiful town.

Lovely comfortable room in the house but private and quiet with a stunning view over the back garden. Walking distance to the town itself with the shops and everything needed. Bathroom was great with all the necessary and great pressure on the shower. Tuesdays the market is on in the town hall and the flowers are just beautiful all around!

Honestly not anything but parking was down the side street which could be tricky for folk with heavy luggage. Also the staircase upstairs is narrow and winding which with luggage could be an issue if not strong. Let this not deter you however as the host was a wonderful interesting gentleman with a home with lots of history.

The location was excellent - but parking was tricky if you had a car. Very friendly host and comfortable bed.

It was very warm weather but there was no fan which would have been good. However this was not a huge issue.

Sehr guter Preis, gute Lage und schöne Einrichtung.

Frank ist ein freundlicher Gastgeber. Obwohl das Zimmer neben seinem Schlafzimmer ist, haben wir ihn weder wahrgenommen noch gesehen - außer bei unserer Ankunft und 1 x in seiner Küche. Es war schön, ein eigenes Bad zu haben. Es ist über ein paar Stufen nach unten zu erreichen. Das Zimmer liegt zum Garten raus und ist sehr ruhig.

フランクさんは、とても親切で思いやりのある方です(*^^*) 英語を話せない私にも優しく接してくれ、グラストンベリーのおすすめスポットも教えていただき、充実した滞在となりました！ブリストルからバスに乗ると、家の目の前のバス停に着きます！家の裏側にはスーパーもあり、どの観光スポットにもアクセスしやすい場所にあります！３日間滞在しましたが、とても快適に過ごすことができました！ありがとうございました♡♡♡
