This is a delightful listed property that’s been sympathetically restored to offer a small cosy self contained accommodation in the heart of Glastonbury.

We like it all there was nothing we didn’t like. Yes it’s small but it really cosy and warm.

Small but with so much character and excellent location

The location could not have been better, right next to the high street with a cut through alley and access via a pub!! Soooo much character. Small but has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Hosts were very helpful. Free secure parking, but only if you have a small car or are a very good dri er. My 3 series BMW got in but with literally mm's to spare.

Getting in and out of bed was a bit tight. If you are a 'larger' person you may struggle.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Glastonbury, thank you

Fantastic location for the centre of Glastonbury. Easy access to all the local shops and attractions. The property is warm, very clean and comfortable, very cosy with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is very small but the hosts have planned every inch of space to the maximise what is available including a full kitchen, which is fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and even given a few groceries and tea/ coffee to help us settle in, lovely gesture. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely be back again xxx

Perfect Location in a Compact Package.

Gayle and Jed were fantastic hosts. Communication and welcome were first class. This little flat is well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay in the centre of Glastonbury. A one minute walk from the door and you are on the vibrant and fascinating High Street, with so many ecclectic stores and alleyways to explore. Central to everything but absolutely silent at night. No problems getting a restful night here but be warned...it would be so easy to oversleep, so best set aan alarm so you don't miss out on anything in this little town where there always seems to be something to do.

I'm 193cm tall and compact UK accommodation is not kind to me. There are several low clearances where I banged my head and I had to sleep diagonally on the bed. Lucky I wasn't sharing the bed! This is not a run down of this place, merely stating some challenges that I had. Given that this building was built in 1750 and is heritage listed, Gayle, Jed and their son have done a great job of renovating this space and making a beautiful place to stay in central Glastombury. If you are oversized in height or width this may not be the place for you, however if you are of simiilar proportions to the average population in 1750, this place is perfect.

Excellent location! Excellent rental!

I just loved how perfect the location was! With this rental you don't need a car. High Street is right there! I also loved the history of the rental which Gayle told us about. The property felt very secure--there's the outside gate and another door before you get to your actual rental door. Gayle and Jed were so nice and happy to answer any questions. They even provided some bread, coffee, tea, etc. to get us through our first evening there. They've thought of everything! Excellent hosts!

A clean & characterful place, full of charm and love - a hidden gem

What a wonderful hidden gem! The hosts were there if I needed them and very helpful if I had any questions. Nothing was too much bother - such a lovely couple. You can also tell the place has been renovated with love and care - it's great. Oh, and the bed was so comfy, and the location was quiet.

Lovely little appartment

A fabulous little appartment in the centre of Glastonbury. Really quirky and cosy, the owners have made fantastic use of the space and it has everyhting you could need. Tucked down a quite back lane it was very peacful while still being accisible for the town. Host was lovely and very helpful. Will definately be back.

Perfect little town house

Gale and Jed were wonderful to me. Jed drive me to Bristol Airport taking me the scenic way to see the beautiful countryside, so much better than my taking the bus. Jed also fixed my phone case for me. The position was amazing actually in the High Street and 400 metres from the retreat I was attending. Quite Perfect.

A great find...

A beautiful self contained annex in listed historical building, literally everything is provided, from books to read, games,a CD player,a smart TV and even a tablet to use, fully equipped kitchen, everything was absolutely spotless, tea, coffee, herbal tea, biscuits, washing up liquid and shower gel were all provided, good location too. Looking forward to my next visit

The place was difficult to find (I'm not good with instructions) but the lovely host came to meet me. The staircase is narrow but due to the building being listed they cannot put a hand rail there (no fault of hosts)

A lovely self catering, beautifully done property, attentive hosts.

It had lots of character and felt really cosy and comfortable. There were many lovely touches in the interior design. It was just off the upper end of the high street and a really convenient location. The hosts Jed and Gayle were well hospitable, friendly and helpful.

It was fantastic, stress free and a beautiful time.

We liked everything. The owners Gayle and Jed are lovely warm friendly people who have done a wonderful job of renovating and furnishing this beautiful important historical building. Although small and very compact the 1 bed house has everything we needed including privacy, a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom and garden area. The location is absolutely amazing for shopping in the high street or access to all of the local attractions like the Tor, the Abbey and both Chalice Wells, all of which are within easy walking distance of the front door. We would recommend this to anyone and we had a fantastic time.

Wonderful, quirky, well equipped, great value, lovely hosts

Jed met us in the garden on arrival - parking was made particularly easy following instructions sent to us prior to our arrival. We were shown around & given an overview of the property including it's history, very interesting! Particularly impressed with the stove feature in the bathroom! Wonderful little place, very well equipped, lots of quirky features, quiet, quaint, pretty little garden, close to everything you need to see, & perfect for a long weekend stay.

Not much room either side of the bed so we bumped our toes a couple of times, but we can't hold this against Gayle & Jed as they can't make the property any bigger, & a smaller bed wouldn't be any good. So really just an observation & a note to be a little cautious when accessing the sides of the bed.

An unforgettable stay at a lovely property run by exceptional hosts who made our stay very special.

Our hosts Gayle & Jed were exceptional and made our stay most enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure everything worked out for us and did more than any hosts have done before for me, anywhere else. That personal touch made all the difference. A lovely place to stay in the middle of the tow,n close to everything in Glastonbury yet the quiet garden area at the back provides a tranquil space to sit in the sunshine. Definitely an experience to remember fondly and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

We loved everything about our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming, kind & nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation its self was absolutely stunning, quirky with loads of character & is private. The location of the accommodation was spot on, everything you need within a short walk.
