Time out in Glastonbury

Nice and cosy little room in the centre of Glastonbury, but in a Close, that’s why very quiet. Everything was very clean. The host was wonderful and there was always special filtered water for drinking, what I loved. The kitchen is fully equipped, so, self catering is easy to be done.

For me the mattress was too soft, but that’s only my personal preference.

I had a wonderful stay! The central location made it easy to get around, yet the place was incredibly peaceful and quiet—a rare combination. The owners were very considerate and genuinely kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

A central location, but comfort and care were missing

The only positive aspect is that the location is somewhat central and walkable to main Glastonbury spots.

The overall state of the place is quite poor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with a plastic-feeling mattress and rough, worn-out linens that made it hard to rest. The bathroom had no amenities at all — not even basic soap or shampoo — and there was even a used bar of soap left behind, which felt unhygienic. The space was also very noisy, with constant sounds coming from stairs, pipes or machinery, making it difficult to get proper sleep. It felt far from the retreat-like experience the listing suggests.

Amazing location, wonderful host, clean and quiet place, close to Glastonbury town

I love the great location and cleanliness of the room with private bathroom. Clean bedsheet with Eco product as I am sensitive to chemicals. The energy in the house is very uplifting. I slept very well on the comfortable bed. Earth Fare organic supermarket is just 10 minute walk. Host takes care of this place very well and provides clean drinking water. Thank you, Claudie and Jeremy for wonderful host! I highly recommend this place at Glastonbury!

Lovely Central Location In Glasto

Loved the location, central to Glastonbury, and close to the Abbey. Jeremy was friendly and showed us around the place, and made us feel at home. The facilities were lovely, clean, and considerate. A great space for a trip to Glastonbury.

It was quiet and peaceful in a central location. I was a lovely surprise to have great tasting filtered water and machu pichu coffee for breakfast. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated.

Fantastisch verblijf.

De locatie was geweldig. Je loopt de hoek om zo het dorpje in van Glastonbury. Vanuit deze accommodatie loop je in 30 minuten naar de Tor. Het was schoon, ik werd vriendelijk ontvangen, je kan de beheerders altijd bereiken, bed lag goed en een heerlijke warme douche. Op de binnenplaats was er een mogelijkheid om te zitten. En er was een keuken waar je zelf eventueel iets kan klaarmaken.

Roligt beliggende - meget tæt på centrum og gåafstand til The Tor samt The Chalice Well og St Margaret's Chapel. Adgang til køkken og privat badeværelse. meget stille omgivelser. Meget hjælpsom vært ! Booket grundet de gode anbefalinger - og det var sandt ! Meget ros til værtsparret - meget hjælpsomme !
