I absolutely loved Conkers. Very secluded yet I felt very safe and secure. Beautifully appointed.

Nice cosy property, ideal for two people. Bread, eggs, milk, coffee, tea and cereals plus fresh fruit all provided.

I had an exceptional ten-night stay at Conkers. Beautiful accommodation. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Peaceful rural location, yet convenient to town and wonderful nature reserves. The hosts were superb. Excellent communication throughout. I highly recommend Conkers and hope to return.

I loved the stunning view of the national park/ fields and the property itself was so well designed from the outdoor lights to the wooden beams inside the property there was so many lovely features!

Everything was spot on. Very friendly and helpful host. Clean and spacious with nature views and a bus stop very close by. We loved the little details and the generous gifts the host had left. Thank you for a beautiful time. Would love to come back.

Conkers, a smash hit with us!

A lovely well designed cabin, Conkers was in a beautiful rural setting. A great selection of breakfast options were provided and everything worked. Great position to visit many of Somersets best nature reserves.

You would have to be very picky to find fault with Conkers.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived to this lovely cabin. It felt like being in your own private space looking out onto a green field with sheep. It was so peaceful with a great appointed cabin. The place was immaculate with tasteful decor. The breakfast left in the cabin was really good. Fresh free range eggs from the chickens they have rescued, fresh fruit, muesli, milk, butter, bread etc etc we had a feast. The bird song in the morning whilst sitting outside with a coffee looking through the morning mist tranquil and peaceful.

Fabulous! Have already booked yo return for longer.

Just fabulous. Amazing view, lovely property, great host who couldn't have done more or been more welcoming. Have already booked to go back. This will be my first port of call now every time I stay in the area (but it's so lovely it gets booked up quickly!!) Oh and an added bonus of a lovely little cat who made herself at home on the sofa and was all purrs and cuddles!

An idyllic rural escape, comfortable and relaxing

The setting is almost other-worldly in its tranquillity. After a hectic week's business in several large cities it was the perfect antidote to stress. The property had clearly been built to a high specification and carefully maintained. All the small details had been taken care of, from tasteful coasters to plenty of pots, pans and utensils, to good cleaning products to a lovely selection of breakfast ingredients. It was warm, cosy, with a comfy bed and good wifi. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming without being the slightest bit invasive, and I loved the livestock and wildlife round about.

Great little getaway

It’s a lovely clean space, located in a great spot overlooking green fields. Martin/Sarah were great communicators and they left us breakfast essentials which was so lovely so we weren’t rushing about, it’s not far from Glastonbury/Well will definitely visit again.

Absolutely everything. If heaven were a place… this would be it. Perfect location. Lovely and peaceful. Had all the amenities you could possibly need and more. Fell in love with this place at first sight. Definitely going to stop here again. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Conkers with my daughter .. The cottage is in the perfect location .. Martin and Sarah made us very welcome everything you could want is provided it was easy to find with Martins directions would definitely recommend

Peaceful stay in self-catered accommodation.

The cabin/ accommodation is located in a peaceful location on the host's property. It's far enough from their house to be private, but still close if anything is needed. It overlooks their field of sheep which is lovely! Unfortunately it was raining when we stayed so we couldn't make much use of the patio area, but there is everything you need indoors, and they even provide tea, coffee, bread, milk, eggs & cereal to make breakfast. There is TV, wifi & a comfy bed. It's a great place to stay for work or pleasure and is only 10 minutes from Glastonbury. We met Martin's wife Sarah, who was lovely, and gave us check in instructions/ helpful advice on where to get food. There is a lovely sky light above the bed which I imagine is great when you can see the stars!
