Wonderful stay!

I stayed at Stadthof Glarus for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is charming and centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. My room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the fantastic team. From check-in to dinner service, every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can feel that they care deeply about creating a great experience for their guests. The Lebanese food at the restaurant was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can taste the passion in every dish. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates warm hospitality, a relaxed atmosphere, and great food.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Stadthof Glarus. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot right in the center of Glarus, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the stunning mountain views. The rooms have been recently renovated and it really shows—everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The combination of modern comfort and classic charm made for a very relaxing stay. One of the absolute highlights was the service. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Whether it was providing local recommendations or making sure I had everything I needed, they went above and beyond. The hotel’s restaurant deserves special mention. The menu offers a great variety, but the Lebanese food in particular was outstanding. It’s not something you expect to find in the Swiss Alps, but it was genuinely some of the best I’ve had—full of authentic flavors and clearly made with care. The hummus, falafel, and grilled dishes were all amazing. Overall, Stadthof Glarus exceeded my expectations. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and great food in a charming location. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Fühl dich wie zu Hause 🏡

Das Personal war sehr freundlich zu mir, der Zugang zum Hotel ist perfekt für Menschen mit Behinderungen. Da mein Hund blind ist, waren der Zugang zum Hotel und die Einrichtungen perfekt, sodass er sich problemlos fortbewegen konnte. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ziemlich gut. Das Zimmer ist komplett und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr sauber. Die Lage ist wunderbar, der Park eignet sich hervorragend zum Spazierengehen mit meinem Hund. Der Bahnhof ist nur wenige Meter entfernt und es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Dies ist nicht das erste Mal, dass ich dieses Hotel gewählt habe. und es wird auch nicht das letzte sein.

On y va parce qu'on manque d'option

L'emplacement au centre de Glaris

Le personnel invisible. Il n'y avait personne à l'accueil pour le check-out malgré qu'on ai sonné plusieurs fois. Nous avons caché les clés où nous avons pu et avons informé l'hôtel via message. Nous n'avons jamais reçu de confirmation de leur part. Le mobilier de la chambre datant des années 80, probablement d'origine. L'Hôtel a du potentiel, dommage qu'il soit resté au point mort depuis surement l'ouverture. Le restaurant ne donne pas envie de s'y aventurer. C'est dommage.
