I stayed at Stadthof Glarus for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is charming and centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. My room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the fantastic team. From check-in to dinner service, every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can feel that they care deeply about creating a great experience for their guests. The Lebanese food at the restaurant was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can taste the passion in every dish. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates warm hospitality, a relaxed atmosphere, and great food.

The room was clean and of average size for a double room (with two single beds). We travelled by bike and the hotel was satisfied if we kept them overnight in our rooms. The hotel was close to a very nice park where it's possible to relax with a drink on an evening.

We opted for a breakfast ad hoc at check-in. We are still not sure what happened exactly but when we went for breakfast on saturday morning, we found that the restaurant area was closed and did not open prior to us leaving 30minutes later. We were not the only guests waiting for breakfast and as yet, even though I contacted the venue for a refund for breakfast and they agreed to this, I am yet to recieve it after a week or so. The road that the hotel is on, was very noisy at night. Being a friday evening, we expected a bit of noise but traffic was also particularly bad. Take this into your consideration when planning your stay.
