Very friendly owners and super hospitable. Also very clean and all the little details have been thought of (detergent, salt and pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets, etc). The only disadvantage I can think of is that you can not walk to the center. For us no problem, because parking was very easy.

We can't wait for our next visit and hope to stay with Sandy and Henry again.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our time at Sandy & Henry's home. We walked around the beautiful and safe neighborhood using the hand drawn map in the dining room. Because most stores closed at 6pm, we spent our evenings playing board games (some supplied by the hosts), talking and laughing in the spacious living room/4th bedroom. Roomy bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen/dining room were all furnished and supplied with everything you need for your stay. Our kids, in their 20s, enjoyed the snacks and drink left by the hosts. They loved having their own bathrooms and being able to sleep in late. Sandy and Henry quickly responded to any questions we had. Could not have asked for better hosts.

I agree with previous reviewer about stairs to lower level and child noises, but none of that bothered us, either. The men in our group thought the beds were a little soft, but they slept great anyway. The women liked the mattresses and the soft and cozy bed coverings.

Superb

The place was beautifully furnished and newly renovated. The hosts provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay - coffee, tea, snacks and bottled water and all and cleaning supplies we needed for our stay. We parked on a side street (just three houses away) where parking was plentiful. The location is great - a 3 block walk to grocery, coffee shops and buses into the city. Also easy fast bus access to the university. We were all surprised how roomy the 4 bedrooms were.

Spacious, tons of amenities and personal touches, favorable location, exceptional hosts; would absolutely stay here agai

It is very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of 6. Nice neighborhood with off-street parking, and very close to the airport. Kitchen and bathrooms amply stocked with every amenity we needed. Lots of personal touches by the owners, like snacks, coffee/tea, creamers, toiletries, laundry detergent, even a welcome note:-) On a rainy day, they left umbrellas outside our door. They were very kind and responsive to all communication. We were treated more as personal guests than as temporary renters:-)

To be clear, there is nothing I didn’t like or that would keep me from staying here again. I’ll just mention in case it really matters to other renters, that the apartment is in a sort of walk out basement (don’t worry—there’s plenty of light!), so at times you can hear the family upstairs. They were NEVER too loud and the noise was always during waking hours. It was never a bother, and didn’t once disturb us (even on the day we slept in very late haha!).
