Good for a one night stay!

The owners of the hotel are very friendly. Also the location is very good!

The property is old. No AC, fridge or coffee maker like our other Oaxaca bookings that cost less.

Peaceful, welcoming, clean, with great hosts who will make you feel at home.

The room was simple but comfortable. Blanca and Jose were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave great suggestions for what to do, where to explore, and treated us like family. When we made special requests to be more comfortable, they were happy to accommodate us. It was easy to request taxis and get to other parts of town. The area felt safe and we often stayed out late and returned to the hotel without any problems. The facilities were clean and well kept, with a wonderful sunny rooftop. Would happily stay here again.

Very basic rooms in a good location

The location is good, walking distance to two markets and the old town. Batch room is good sized.

The room is super basic, the closet is ancient like 40 years old. There is no elevator. The fist night I noticed that one of the light bulb was not working, making the room dark and gloomy. They fixed it after I told them about it. The shower has poor water pressure.

The room is in the center of Oaxaca. It is very cosy, a bit old, but clean. The owners are a very kind couple, who support with any questions! The atmosphere is very warm and kind

Very good

- Wonderful hosts, Mrs.Blanca is so sweet and caring, as a solo traveler I felt completely safe staying in this hotel. - Location good, super close to mercado and the city center is less than 10 min away. Since its not in the middle of the center,its quiet so you kinda get the best of both worlds. - They have a cute terrace where you can chill and enjoy the sunset. - SUPER CLEAN!!!

- This is a basic hotel, there was no hair dryer or air conditioning in my room. Thankfully there was a fan (which is a must on hot Oaxacan summer nights) but it was super loud and was positioned directly at the bed and not movable, it´d be great if at some point they could update it. - my bed was really hard, even though I usually sleep on hard mattresses this was even harder for my standards, so if you have a sensitive back, you should reconsider.

Very good

I had a very pleasant stay. Yola, the manager was always available on WhatsApp in case I had questions. The room with terrace is nice, was absolutely clean and comfortable. You don't really see staff, I met Yola once and the cleaning lady twice. The room is protected by a magnetic mosquito screen, which is very effective. I didn't need the mosquito net over the bed.

Googlemaps shows a nonexisting side road to the entrance. In fact you enter from the street. There are some steps and a steep path leading to the entrance, where you have to go up more stairs to get uphill to get tho the posada. Some cloth-hangers would be nice.

Perfect stay in Oaxaca

The hotel owners are a heartwarming couple that helped us with all of our questions and gave us even a local Oaxaca present. The location of the hotel is due to the closeness to the most important markets and the Zócalo perfect.

Only thing is that the shower needs some improvement.

Pudo ser mejor

La ubicación es ideal, esta muy cerca de todo, restaurantes y sitios turísticos y el personal fue amable, nos dieron instrucciones para usar el transporte y taxi.

Booking me marcaba un descuento de $200 que no se aplicó al llegar al lugar, no pude pagar con tarjeta y la cama era muy incómoda.

Hotel céntrico tranquilo, ya algo viejito como muchos en Oaxaca

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, solo 5 minutos para llegar al centro. Los cuartos que tuvimos fueron muy tranquilos. Además, cuenta con una azotea que permite sentarse en forma silenciosa en cualquier momento. Los propietarios que atienden a los huéspedes como el concierge de noche son personas muy amables.

Los cuartos en planta baja son muy oscuros. En general el hotel es viejo y sus instalaciones como los muebles deberían ser renovados. No tiene propio estacionamiento y no tiene un acuerdo con estacionamiento de la zona que facilitaría decidir que estacionamiento elegir. En general el precio del hotel es alto para lo que ofrece, pero hay que considerar que todos los hoteles en Oaxaca son demasiado caros.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und zudem immer erreichbar die ganze Nacht / tagsüber immer an der Rezeption . Ich habe mich sehr Zuhause gefühlt obwohl ich kein spanisch spreche , konnte ich mich mit der rezeptionistin immer unterhalten. Ausserdem habe ich jeden Tag neues Bettbezug und Handtücher bekommen mit einer Flasche Wasser.

Très central dans un quartier populaire

Emplacement dans un quartier populaire à 3mn du marché du 20 novembre et 7mn de la place centrale. Facile de héler un taxi dans la rue. Girel un peu vieillot, la chambre était grande avec une grande salle de bain. Tout était très propre. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très sympathiques.

Il manque juste un thermos d'eau chaude ou une bouilloire en bas pour pouvoir se faire un thé ou un café le matin.

La proximidad con el centro.

El sitio estaba muy limpio, pero las toallas estaban muy amarillas. El agua caliente salía hirviendo y el sanitario no funcionaba correctamente. Al final de la estancia dejamos las maletas guardadas, en principio sin coste. Pero al llegar nos cobraron 200 pesos por volver después de las 8pm sin habernos avisado antes...

La ubicación y la amabilidad de la sra. Lola. Mucha tranquilidad en el hotel

La regadera de la ducha, pésima. El chorro, aunque caliente, sale muy disperso y se desperdicia mucha agua. Le sugiero a los dueños que pongan una mejor regadera de bajo consumo de agua, pero con un chorro más concentrado para bañarse mejor y más rápido. Además se ahorra energía por el ahorro de agua caliente.
